Getting Lionheart the Easy Way (Disc 3)

How to get Lionheart without playing 20+ hours of Triple Triad.

First Thing's First...

First off, you need to have the Ragnorok by this point in the game, if you're not to that point... get there!

Also, your party will need to be over level 20 in order for the item drops to be possible (the easy way of getting Lionheart is not for a lvl 7 Squall game).

Adamantine (1)

Fly over to Long Horn Island and run around (make sure Enc-none is NOT equiped).

You're looking for some big turtles called "Adamantoise".


Adamantine (You only need one) is a rare item drop, but if you're at least level 20 keep at it and it will be dropped.

Dragon Fangs (4)

Head over to Trabia, and run around in the forest patches.









Eventually you will come across a Blue Dragon, defeat the Blue Dragon and recieve Dragon Fangs (this is once again a rare drop, and may take a few tries).

Pulse Ammo (12)

You must have Ifrit to level 10 with Ammo Refine ability, if you don't have that, level up.

You're looking for an item called an "Energy Crystal". The easiest way to get those is through the Elnoyles in Esthar, so get over to Esthar.







NOTE: This must be done in the game after the lunar cry, when the sky around Esthar glows red.





You're now looking for a creature called Elnoyle. These are all over the place in Esthar (on the 3D world map part, NOT inside of the city with pre-rendered backgrounds).





Eventually one of these babies is gonna drop an "Energy Crystal".

Use Ifrit's Ammo Refine ability to refine 2 Energy Crystal into 20 Pulse Ammos, luckily you only need 12.

Get the Lionheart!

Now, head over to a junk shop (you'll need 2000 spare Gil), and get yourself a Lionheart!
