Comparing CS2 Rating to CS:GO

The new system in Premier Matchmaking introduces a main rating scale from 0 to 35,000, colour-coded similar to skin-rarity. All ratings have undergone a reset since the full game launch. Below, I present my preliminary estimations on the correlation between CS2 ratings and CS:GO ranks. Please note that these assessments are subject to change as this is still an early phase.

The current CS2 ratings can be roughly equated to CS:GO ranks (based on data from the initial release):

Grey	(Silver – GN3)	[✔]
Light Blue	(GN4 – MG)	[✔]
Blue	(MG – LE)	[✔]
Purple	(LEM – Supreme)	[✔]
Pink	(Supreme – Global)	[✔]
Red+	(Global)	[✔]
