Using Multiple Maps in a SFM Session (Updated)
By Pte Jack
SFM uses maps at both a Session Level (default) and at Shot Level. In order to use multiple maps in a single session, maps have to be defined at the Shot Level.

This video guide will show the process required to use multiple maps in a session.

I followed this method, but instead of the shot I changed the map actually change map, it instead has no map error and then crashes, what I did wrong?
I'm already placed the playhead inside the shot I want to change the map within as well as selecting it

SFM can only have one map loaded at a time when editing, if you switch shots and it uses a different map than the one loaded, you will get that error. you have to use the Change_level <mapname> to change the map.

If your rendering, the maps will change as the clip renders automatically.
