Golf (9x9 Card Game)

Quick work-up of a game I played a decade ago and wanted to play again.

Golf: 9x9

1-2 players uses one deck with 2 jokers
3-4 plays uses two decks with 4 jokers

Set-Up:
Each player is dealt 9 cards in a 3x3 grid all face down.
The remaining cards are placed in the center of the table, face down, as a draw pile with space for a discard pile, face up.

Gameplay:
During each player's turn, they may make one of three choices:
1) You may flip one of your face down cards face up.
2) You may draw from the draw pile and replace it with one of your cards, whether that card is face up or face down, and place it in the discard pile.
3) You may take the top card of the discard pile and replace it with one of your cards, whether that card is face up or face down, and place it in the discard pile.

The goal of the game is to get the lowest score, hence the name Golf.

Scoring:
Ace = 1
2-10 = Their Face Value
J or Q = 10
K = 0
Joker = -2

Special Rules:
When two of the same card are vertically adjacent, their total points becomes 0.

When there are four of the same card in a 2x2 shape, their total points becomes -10.
