HOW TO USE GEN CODES ON CS2

This guide will show you how to use Gen codes to create custom CS2 skins that don't exist on community skin servers. It also includes an ID for every skin in the game, so you can easily generate codes for the skins you want.

Using !gen codes

A !gen code is a text command that can be used to generate a custom weapon skin in CS2. The code includes information about the weapon type, skin ID, pattern index, and float value. For example, to generate a code for an AK-47, you would use the weapon ID 7. To generate a code for an AWP, you would use the weapon ID 9. You can also use the weapon IDs to generate codes for specific skins. For example, to generate a code for an AWP Asiimov, you would use the weapon ID 9 and the skin ID 279.(!gen 9 279)

Float Values

Float value is a number that represents the wear and condition of a skin. It is a value between 0 and 1, where 0 is the best condition (Factory New) and 1 is the worst condition (Battle-Scarred). Float values are used to determine how much wear and tear a skin has, affecting its visual appearance.

Here's a breakdown of the float values and their corresponding skin conditions in CS2.

• Factory New (0.00 to 0.07): Skins in this condition have minimal wear and are in pristine condition. They usually have the best appearance and are highly sought after.
  
  
• Minimal Wear (0.07 to 0.15): Minimal wear skins have a bit more wear than Factory New, but they still look quite clean and well-maintained.
  
  
• Field-Tested (0.15 to 0.38): Field-Tested skins show noticeable signs of wear, but they are still in decent condition. They might have scratches, scuffs, and other signs of use.
  
  
• Well-Worn (0.38 to 0.45): Well-Worn skins have substantial wear and exhibit a significant amount of damage and fading. They often look worn out.
  
  
• Battle-Scarred (0.45 to 1.00): Battle-Scarred skins are in the worst condition, with a high level of wear and visible damage. They can look heavily damaged, scratched, and discolored.

Pattern Index

Pattern index is a number that represents how the skin's texture is applied to the weapon model. Each skin has a different set of possible patterns, and the pattern index determines which pattern is used.

There are 1001 possible patterns for each weapon. This means that two skins of the same type and quality can look different, depending on their pattern index. Below is two examples of the same skin with different pattern index.
