Information and how-to.

  • In this case we are going to test out the "Fluorescent Light" object in the game. This basically lits up the dark area. Let's say, you have a house that you want to lit up because the rooms are a bit dark.

  • You will also need to have the following items to "power" it up and be able to turn it on.
    - Fluorescent Light, Splitter, Electric Tool Pack, Diesel Generator and Gasoline.

  • Let's take a look at the picture below:

In this picture, you can see the Diesel Generator, some wiring, and the lights that are turned off. I can easily turn these lights on by holding "F" on the Diesel Generator and turning it ON. Keep in mind, this is a very simple tutorial and how-to.

  • Let's take a look at the picture below on how the wiring actually is/works:
As you can see in the picture, on the right side you see a "green box". Connect this box to the top of the splitter, the red box. Always connect the "power source" to the "green boxes" so they stay connected with each other.

  • Now, let's take a better look where the lights are turned ON:

As you can see, I toggled on the Diesel Generator (put Gasoline in it) and the lights are turned on. When you take a closer look you can see the green boxes connecting to the lights. Unfortunately, you do not see the red boxes on the lights but they are there. When placing lights remember that the red boxes are always on the left side.

  • To make everything work as intended, please do these steps:
    - Connect the green box on the Diesel Generator to the top of the splitter.
    - Connect the green boxes on the bottom of the splitter to the red boxes on the left side of the lights.
    - When you misplace wires, look at the wire hold the "F" button, and do it again.
    - When holding "F" on the Diesel Generator you can see that you can turn it ON/OFF.
    - When you have turned ON the Diesel Generator and holding your electric tool pack you can see the wires being animated. This means they work. If they have no animations, they do not work.

@jakefallin500 Trust when I say.... There is already a TON of fuel on the map... for everyone and their ancestors..

As for this post.. light switches.. you have circuit breakers.. but not a breaker box.. All the power leads to one box and that box can control multiple floors and areas (rooms) on those floors. You can cut power to a room or the whole building.

I see alot of ores but I donot see coal ore. Will there be a appearance of coal ore entering the game? perhaps for better smelting fuel for ores?
