===Fluff===

The Avenger Light Fighter is a recent addition to the Avalonian Aero-space forces, specializing in high speed dog fighting, and interceptor duty. Though it is under-gunned and under-tonned against heavier fighters like the Sleipnir, it's speed and maneuverability allows it to dodge, and out-maneuver larger fighters, and bombers. It's weaponry is designed to overwhelm and punch through the kinetic fields of other craft quickly, and deal crippling damage once the field is overwhelmed and collapsed.

In fact, the pilots of this new fighter are already using it's missiles to stress the Kinetic field, followed by a rail gun blast to punch a hole straight through the field (and if it's week enough, it will punch into the vessel), and then scorch critical systems quickly with the laser.

All in all, this vessel is a great fighter, designed as an aerospace fighter utilized more as a scalpel than a sledgehammer. Already a favorite among veteran pilots and new cadets alike. It's simple weaponry configuraiton, and small size, makes it ideal for infiltration missions, escort duty, and space superiority roles. Thanks to it's small size, any ship larger than a standard size corvette is capable of carrying a small compliment of them.

The Hammer of Galahad class carrier "Prodigious light" in fact carries over 600 of these fighters as part of it's compliment. Allowing it to deploy a fighter screen that can overwhelm it's targets through sheer numbers.
