Cities Skylines 2 has been released and lots of people are reporting issues with POOR PERFORMANCE. Lag, low FPS, bad graphics. Many folks do not have PC's the are at the recommended specs, which are quite high and a lot of recommendations are for those with beefy desktop gaming PCs.

If you've got a more modest mid-range PC or a laptop, THIS is the guide for you. I'll show you some settings that balance good visuals and performance and easily get between 20-35 fps on large cities with minimal lag WITHOUT sacrificing graphical quality too much and up to 37 fps when first starting out.

For reference, I am running an MSI Delta 15 Gaming Laptop I purchased in February of this year from Best Buy.

CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 5800H
GPU - Graphics AMD Radeon™ RX 6700M with 10GB GDDR6
Memory - 64GB DDR4
Storage - 1TB SSD

Other than my high RAM, this PC is BELOW the recommended settings to run Cities Skylines 2, but higher than the minimum specs, so keep that in mind and make adjustments as needed for your own setup.

thanks for you video i have a brand new 2000 $ gamer computer that a pro recommended me and it seems it's not enought to play this game with high settings (at some point) ! But still i love this game
