Star Trek: U.S.S. Voyager (Reforged Eden)

Descripción
Star Trek: U.S.S. Voyager

After converting my Millennium Falcon to Reforged Eden, I decided I needed a CV, so I converted my Old Voyager. It is close to a Core 9 build, but does need maybe 100-150k more CPU. I have one Legacy core extender, however, you may be able to get rid of it and make up the difference with crew.

There is room for an aeroshuttle on the Deck 6 Saucer section, however, if you do not need that then that is the perfect spot for for turrets particularly an artillery turret, as there is space. Otherwise, there is a lot of unused space merely for deco (as this is supposed to be a replica of the show) that you can add more stuff.

Please remember to "Like/Thumbs Up" this page if you enjoyed this build!

Original Description

This is a scaled down CV based off the U.S.S. Voyager Intrepid Class Starship from the Star Trek: Voyager Series.

After doing a pretty good job with the Prometheus, I finally decided to tackle Voyager itself. The U.S.S. Prometheus can be found here:

This ship also features a fully functional Aeroshuttle bay. The Aeroshuttle built to fit can be found here:

Like the Prometheus, the ship is about 1/3 the size (2/3 the length, 200m down from 300m). I sized it down to this scale because around 200m seems to be the sweet spot for a large size CV that can sport 5 XL thrusters and maneuver well while keeping within the CPU limit. I discovered this when I built my Yacht Star Destroyer, and have attached a size comparison with the Prometheus.

I have attached the Deck List and the statistics page for specifics, but suffice it to say, this ship is fully featured though not as well as the Prometheus.

I rearranged things properly so now the security complex is above the Sick bay, which is on Deck 5 as it is supposed to be. Deck 1 is too small to have arranged it properly, but I was still able to fit in the ready room and the conference room and still get the feel right. A few decks have been condensed, but overall, everything is where it is supposed to be as in the Deck plans. Notable rooms from the show include:

1. Bridge, Captain's ready room, deck 1 meeting room, and Mess Hall
2. Security complex complete with briefing room, range, locker room, and Detention with 3 brig cells
3. The 2 main transporter rooms, laid out correctly across from security
4. Sick bay complex is dimensionally correct, complete with round about, lab, morgue, and locker room
5. Correctly laid out Cargo area, with all 10 main cargo holds. (I even put a hydroponics bay (growing pots) in cargo bay 2, as reference by the show
6. Lateral and forward docking ports
7. I even put in 2, non functional holodecks, condensed into deck 5
8. Fully correct shuttle bay area, complete with both bays, both control overlook rooms, and shuttle bay storage underneath. The Type 6 and 8 shuttles I built do fit everywhere
9. Forward observation lounge and the aeroshuttle bay it surrounds, which is fully functional
10. Main engineering as it appeared in the show
11. Torpedo bay as it appears in schematics
12. Astrometrics and science labs, roughed out to blueprints
13. All the turbolifts are schematic correct and even have the jeffries tubes where they are supposed to be, though they are too small to have ladders in them
14. Finally I put in a garage on the bottom, because the bottom decks are just a bunch of noise and I find HV bays useful

Like the Prometheus, this ship can land, and the garage is flush with the ground.

I did end up working off some Deck plans designed by Strategic Design, who, seemingly, went out of business ~2010. They did wonderful work painstakingly referencing both CG visuals and dialogue from the shows to design deck plans that seem incredibly accurate. I won't link the literal website where I found them, but do a search on "cygnus deck plans" to find a site that has archived them. They have many ships so for anyone looking to make an accurate Star Trek ship, they probably have what you are looking for.

Finally I want to give credit to Scimitar, who's Nova build is excellent. I looked at his build to solve a few detail issues and appreciated his input. His Nova can be found here:

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this ship, I certainly enjoyed building it and think it turned out well. Let me know in the comments what you think, and it you like it better or worse than the Prometheus.

Very nice!
I've been a fan of all the builds.
I borrowed some design ques for my Trek builds.
Some day I'll get them up on the workshop.

I saw JRandall's exploration of your build and had to try. I never knew getting lost could be so much fun. Loving your design and looking forward to putting it to use!
