Wellington to Mana - The Kapiti Line - New Zealand V1.0

I have created part of the Kapiti Coast Line running North from the Capital WELLINGTON to MANA.
I have also Nearly completed the line running up the coat to Petone.
The Wellington end includes the city around the Terminal station and the main Port and sidings.
The line runs out of Wellington along the Harbour and route 1, before heading into the first of 2 tunnels, this one being just over a km long. The line briefly emerges, to pass over route 1 before entering the second tunnel, which is a whoping 4.3 km long!
The line emerges in a small wooded valley and you reach the first stop at Takapu Road.
From hear you enter a densely built up wide valley, with several stations before you reach the sea at the inlet of Porirua Harbour and its station within the town of the same name.
You then travel alongside the sea passing through Paramata, over a bridge spanning the entrance to the other arm of the inlet and finally reaching Mana station.

I started this layout soon after I bought the game, I thought it might take a few months.
It has actually taken a few years! and.....i'm still not finished.
I still have a lot of work to do (all fun though - not work! :) - but thought it was now completed enough to upload.
I live in the UK, but my Brother lives in NZ, near Paramata in Whitby, with a cracking view over the inlet. He often takes the train into work. I have visited twice and toured both North and south Islands and absolutely love NZ. I travelled by cars, camper vans and even a jet boat, but have yet to ride on a train! My Brother is coming to the UK this time, but its on the list for next time i'm over there.


Thanks to Franks for making this game, just an absolute load of fun, and possibly even a kind of therapy!
