How do I change the dress?!

Guide on how to change in game dress, where to find custom dresses and how to install DLC

It's just "J" on keyboard

Every dress has its unique ability

Classic dress - Health regeneration in Shrink Sense
The Steamdress - Find more Teeth and Roses inside breakable objects
The Siren - Enemies will drop double the amount of roses upon death
The Silk Maiden - Enemies will drop double the amount of teeth upon death
The Royal Suit - Alice's health is reduced to only four roses
The Misstitched - Longer Shrink Sense visibility

If you want to get some custom dresses go to Devianart EvanescentAngel666 they make plenty of custom dresses and tell how to install them

DLC dresses have their abillities described in game menu!!

If you want to have dresses from DLC do the following:

· Go to your game files, you can locate them by right clicking the game then going to "Manage" and then "Browse Local Files"
· Go to Alice Madness Returns\AliceGame\Config\DefaultEngine.ini
·Find GIsSpecialPCEdition=FALSE and set it to TRUE (It should be at the bottom)

Doin this guide because nobody wanted to tell me how to change them and game doesn't tell you what to press.

I don't have the file called DefaultEngine.ini only DefaultEngine. Can anyone help?

If it doesn't work:
·Try to find the option in DefaultControlLayout.ini, because it is possible that I just didn't saw it and it's there
· Make sure you're pressing "J" in the main menu, after picking a save, otherwise it won't work
· Try every other button on your keyboard. Maybe you just have it bound to something else.

littlenubs, okay so, I wasn't able to find anything about changing the dress in options nor game manual. However, in game files I also didn't find anything bound to "J". I think that it may be the option "OpenSamepleMenu" that is bound to "L" in game files, because "L" does nothing in the game and maybe it's a bug.

· Go to your game files, you can locate them by right clicking the game then going to "Manage" and then "Browse Local Files"
· Go to Alice Madness Returns\AliceGame\Config\DefaultControlLayout.ini
·it MAY be: (KeyBindArray2=(Name="L",Command="OpenSamepleMenu")
· If it does nothing, just leave it bound to "L", maybe it does something in the background

Well for me it doesn't seem to work when i press the letter J on the keyboard. Is there any way for me to find out why, would it be in the local files?

The text "GIsSpecialPCEdition=FALSE" is in the file "DefaultEngine.ini"
