Just in time for spooky season, a bank of ghastly fog sure to send chills down your spine. You never know what's waiting for you, until it's too late!
This mod will add fog to your game. It works for campaign, and single player, in just about every mutation, and on every map (even custom maps!)

This is a somewhat more experimental mod, it uses a fairly unique trick to look the way it does, but there are some consequences due to the limited capabilities of l4d2's particle systems.

known issues:

It will conflict with any mod that replaces the first-person hands, there is no solution to that issue. You can install this first to force this to overwrite the other
It will also conflict with hudlayout.res mods, as it contains a modified crosshair
fog disappears when you pick up a gas can
fog disappears when you get pinned by a special infected, or punched by tank
in both of these cases, a duplicate fog is created which doesn't move with you, and looks weird as you move through it
looking down while holding the shovel disappears the fog
sometimes the fog won't come back
