Southern Railway 'Queen Mary' Brake Van

This mod features the Southern Railway 25 ton bogie goods brake van, also known as the 'Queen Mary', featuring liveries from 1936 to 1996.

These were constructed in 1936 for use on non-stop express goods services, supplementing the 1925 LBSCR AC power cars turned 1933 25 ton bogie goods brake vans. Due to their large size, they were given the nickname of 'Queen Mary'.

Most Queen Mary brake vans found themselves in departmental service in later years, from BRB Electrification trains to Signal & Telecoms.

A number managed to survive into privatisation and preservation (These will be featured in a future mod).
