Well, let's figure it out.
Let's start with what, in fact, is included in the definition of a war crime:

Murder, torture and enslavement of prisoners of war, as well as civilians caught in a war zone;

Hostage-taking and killing;

Unjustified destruction of civilian infrastructure;

Destruction of homes and settlements without military necessity and so on.
Based on this, any encouragement of civilians to use weapons in the interests of unfriendly military is a war crime.
Registration of partisans from civilians on a passport is a war crime.
Mass murder of unarmed people and civilians is a war crime.
Finishing off prisoners of war and taking hostages among civilians is a war crime.

Let's recall the same:
"ChechClear" or the Werewolf Massacre 11 - the mass murder of 11 black soldiers from the 333rd Field Artillery Battalion (USA). SS men during the Battle of the Bulge.
All these are examples of animal inhumanity towards other harmless people.
All participants were convicted and sentenced under separate articles, after a while, because a war crime has no statute of limitations.

Of course, war crimes are very bad and scary.
So much death and grief from military actions, but...
If you committed a war crime in the name of PEPPERMINT CAKES, then you are forgiven and in general it was fun!)))
