How to play on LAN in CS2 with friends

This is perfect for a internet cafe to play with friends! Takes ~1-3 minutes to set up
I myself have been searching for a guide, and finally I can help others.

What the host does (main PC)

• Start CS2
  
• Start a practice match in any mode
  
• Open console with "~" (if it doesn't work, either enable it in the settings (search "Console") or change keyboard language
  
• Type in: sv_lan 1 (this is to make lan play available)
  
• Then type in: status
  
• Look for a server IP, it looks like this "111.111.1.1 : 11111", but numbers are different
  
• Send this IP to your other PCs via messages or however you want
  

What clients do (other PCs in LAN)

• Start CS2
  
• Now copy the IP that the host has sent
  
• Open console with "~" (if it doesn't work, either enable it in the settings (search "Console") or change keyboard language
  
• Type in: connect 111.111.1.1:11111 (but the numbers here are yours instead of "1")
  
  You should be connecting to the server now! Have fun!

Useful commands:

• Kick all bots: bot_kick all
  
• If playing casual, restrict watchin enemy players after death: mp_forcecamera 1
  
• End warmup: mp_warmup_end
  
• Start the same map when the match ends: mp_match_end_restart 1
  
• Turn on Autodirector if the game is being streamed: spec_autodirector 1
  
• Turn off kicking afk players: mp_autokick 0

Tried this out recently. Seems like it's still working, as long as your computer is strong enough to host. Otherwise, others won't be able to connect. I recommend a strong wifi network as well.

We have connected with my friends, but i had 0 ping, but my friends played with 10 - 15 ping, we all connected to a single wifi - can somebody help with ping problem 🤨

Maybe it is worth adding to your guide that the server IP you are looking for looks like this "Server: Running [111.111.111.11:11111]" and is literally the first thing in the console after your "status" command.
