My only 2 good suggestion are, make sure you & your friend have also installed the required other mod, KitchenLib. After that, verify all your game files (found within properties > installed files). I encourage everyone to verify their game files before booting up the game after installing any new mods just as a general practice to make sure all install mods loads properly (though it isn't always needed).
Otherwise, you might have other mods that might be causing your issues.
Additionally, my friend who also subscribed to the mod is unable to launch the game. She has followed the same steps as I have, and we even swapped accounts to test it, but the problem persists.
Could you please provide any insights or solutions regarding these issues when you have a moment?
Thank you very much for your time and assistance.
Best regards,
Could just be an innocuous little extra slipped in, but I don't like the fact that there is absolutely nothing about it on this page or in the workshop separately.
1. Clear things out on what @ItsEggMan was trying to say, and Aerliss' confusion to his comment
2. Explain an alternative for those who wish to try the legitimate way before getting the mod
3. To explain my personal desire for a staple type.
I personally use this mod even knowing the trick because I also got a mod that gives me the enchantment table (halloween special) in standard maps and I find this helps me have both more consistently.
PS to the creator: I appreciate the mod, thank you
1. Store the first research desk in the cabinet (This keeps the research desk as a staple)
2. Buy the second Research desk
3. If you get lucky and get a quick copying desk, throw out your research desk (This makes it a staple again.)
4. Copy the next Research desk you find and voila you can have every desk that you want
Of course this takes a few days, but if you're going for a long run it's what's for the best.
Now unfortunately, although Cabinets have the same rule (Is a staple if you do not own one), you can't throw out your last cabinet to get the blueprint as a staple since you need a cabinet to print cabinets and it would no longer be a staple once you have said cabinet.
