Research Desk as Staple

Description
Turns the Research Desk into a Staple, instead of being a conditional staple, making it easier to acquire multiple Research Desk without having to preform desk manipulation.

Staple has a high chance of appearing often early in a run, but they won't appear in rerolls since rerolls won't produce any type of Staple items.

Tried this once last night and it was coming up almost every time. Most of which I already had a research desk, and a copy, blueprint, and discount.

I re-installed the mod, and the game launches and loads fine. While playing a run, Research Desks do appear in-between days and as staples. So, I'm not sure why you are encountering these issues or if the issues that are due to this mod in particular.

My only 2 good suggestion are, make sure you & your friend have also installed the required other mod, KitchenLib. After that, verify all your game files (found within properties > installed files). I encourage everyone to verify their game files before booting up the game after installing any new mods just as a general practice to make sure all install mods loads properly (though it isn't always needed).

Otherwise, you might have other mods that might be causing your issues.

I am writing to bring to your attention a couple of issues I’ve encountered with your mod. After subscribing to it, I’ve replayed the game over ten times but have yet to see any Research Table in the blueprints on the first day. I’ve verified that I’ve set the seed code to only affect the layout and not other items, so I’m unsure if this might be related.

Additionally, my friend who also subscribed to the mod is unable to launch the game. She has followed the same steps as I have, and we even swapped accounts to test it, but the problem persists.

Could you please provide any insights or solutions regarding these issues when you have a moment?

Thank you very much for your time and assistance.

Best regards,

Nope, just a complete mistake on my part as a file from one of my other mods was accidentally saved in this one.

This mod also sneaks in something called "CookerBuff v.0.1.0." I don't know what exactly it does, and searching for a mod called "Cooker Buff" didn't show anything in the workshop. All I've seen is Microwaves get buffed from 5 second cook time to 3 seconds.

Could just be an innocuous little extra slipped in, but I don't like the fact that there is absolutely nothing about it on this page or in the workshop separately.

Don't get me wrong, this mod is a great addition in my opinion, the comments below were just for the following:
1. Clear things out on what @ItsEggMan was trying to say, and Aerliss' confusion to his comment
2. Explain an alternative for those who wish to try the legitimate way before getting the mod
3. To explain my personal desire for a staple type.

I personally use this mod even knowing the trick because I also got a mod that gives me the enchantment table (halloween special) in standard maps and I find this helps me have both more consistently.

PS to the creator: I appreciate the mod, thank you

To add more onto the topic. This is why there is a trick for advanced play.
1. Store the first research desk in the cabinet (This keeps the research desk as a staple)
2. Buy the second Research desk
3. If you get lucky and get a quick copying desk, throw out your research desk (This makes it a staple again.)
4. Copy the next Research desk you find and voila you can have every desk that you want
Of course this takes a few days, but if you're going for a long run it's what's for the best.

Now unfortunately, although Cabinets have the same rule (Is a staple if you do not own one), you can't throw out your last cabinet to get the blueprint as a staple since you need a cabinet to print cabinets and it would no longer be a staple once you have said cabinet.

Research desk is a staple if you don't already own one. Though while I'm at it, I stumbled upon this while searching for a workshop that makes cabinets a staple (for at least two) as I find copying cabinets is a must for long runs.

@ItsEggMan You find many Booking Desks while playing?
