You dont need to learn may lineups
By Living Lathan bandit.gg
Some people think that in order to get good at CS2 you need lineups for every little thing, while lineups do help you can still find success without them. Line ups are generally used by people who look them up before hand to gain a comp advantage while this is true being able to smoke or molly of a position without being exposed can help its not really needed. The introduction of the dynamic smokes to CS2 makes smoking off corridors or angles easier. The smokes allow for a bigger margin of error because they are bigger and spread. For example smoking off long or short from mid in inferno is easy your smoke no longer has to land in the middle of the gap to fill out the entire side, the new smoked allow you to throw the smoke into a wall and because of its spreading ability it will still cover long/short. I have been playing all of the active duty maps and I usually dont need many lineups for executes, for example its easy to smoke off bank on overpass, long and short on Ancient, or con on Mirage. These are few example of using smokes without lineups.

IMO lineups should only be learned if there is any particular thing that you find a huge pain in the butt to deal with. One example might be Coffin on Inferno. Sometimes, players will abuse these common angles and if these players are really good then it will actually get really annoying and damaging to you and might hurt your team's success.
