Coral Island 100% Achievement Guide
Por Raptvre
This is a guide for getting all achievement in Coral Island. This game has been in EA for a while, so a lot of this info has been available. However, the exact method to get things hasn't, so I will update as new things come out about the game or achievements in 1.0. Also, I link the wiki in many places because a lot of achievements involve collecting everything, and I want to avoid bloat. I may add my own lists in, if there is a demand for that. The game is finally 100% -able!

Intro
The game has been in early access for a while, so I have quite a bit of playtime. I know enough about the game to craft this guide, but the achievements are fresh, so there may be some bugginess when it comes to unlocking them. I will update this guide as needed. The game is now fully 100% -able.
When it comes to the organization of this guide, I went with how the Devs organized them: by color of the achievement icon. Some of the categories are not as neat, so CTRL+F if you're looking for something specific.
Money Based Achievements
It Ain't Much
Earn 20k coins
You will get this easily through just playing normally, but if you want to get it faster, focus on farming and foraging and wait to buy major upgrades (like the backpack slots) until you hit 20k. If you have money from playing in EA, you can buy a few apple wine from Fishensips to get this much faster.

Always plant multi-seasonal plants at the start of their first season; they are the most profit per seed price if utilized early. Use your skill upgrades for the price bumps, and quality bumps whenever possible. Make sure to begin farming animals as soon as you can afford it. Once you get artisan and ageing equipment, these products can net you a lot of coins. The Fish Pond and Insect House are both great afk money-makers. Once you catch rarer bugs and fish, you can breed them to be sold. You only need 1 to start the process, so make sure to use insect traps all over the island to catch suitable specimen. Below is a chart of some of the highest profit per day plants, including their season, and the necessary town rank to buy the seeds. Growing a variety works fine too, but if you want to grind for this achievement efficiently, stick to the most profitable plants.

Relationship Based Achievements
Charitable Heart
Give a gift to 25 NPCs
Gifts can be any item, but if you want to work towards this achievement along with heart achievements, you should focus on gifts that the NPCs like and love.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2878989571
Multi-level Gifting
Give a gift to all NPCs
There are 52 total Townsfolk, 5 Giants, 8 Merfolk, and 1 pet. After enough playtime you'll run into all of them at least once. I like to keep crops as easy gifts as they are mostly universally liked items. Festivals are a great time to give gifts, because everyone Townsfolk will be in one area until you leave the festival. I'm unable to gift the Merfolk, but this achievement worked for me once I gave my wife another gift, so try that if you're coming back to the game.

It's A Date!
Start dating an NPC
There are 28 total romancable NPCs for now. I recommend using the guide I linked above to gift more targeted gifts towards a few NPCs that you fancy. In order to start dating, you need to reach 8 hearts. Once you reach this milestone, you will get a letter from the Blacksmith explaining that you need a Locket to ask someone out. It costs 1,500 at the Blacksmith's. The achievement will unlock once you go get your post-sleep recap of the day.

A New Chapter
Get married
First, you need to upgrade your house to level 3 to enable marriage. Then, after hitting 10 stars with any marriageable NPC, you'll get a letter about buying a Diamond Ring from the Blacksmith. It costs 5,000 . Before you can propose, you need to view all their heart events. Once you've done that you can propose, and a date will be set for your wedding. After the wedding, my achievement didn't pop until I opened the game the next day in real life. You can use this guide to figure out where/when all heart event happens:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3088153216

A Full House
Have 2 children
First you need to get to 15 hearts with your spouse. Then, upgrade your House to level 4, so that you have 2 children rooms. At some point, the game will ask you if you want to have a baby at night. After a few more days you will have a baby you can name. About a month later, the game will ask you again if you want to have a baby. Your baby will show up 2 weeks later. The achievement will pop when you go to sleep to end the day.
Heart Based Achievements
Let's Be Platonic
Reach heart 5 with an NPC
Regularly talking to NPCs when you encounter them is a cheap way to start earning hearts. From there, gift them something they like or love, and you'll get this achievement in a matter of weeks.

Good Friends
Reach heart 8 with an NPC
Focus on gifting loved items to get this achievement faster. Some NPCs have relatively cheap and common items as their loved items, so you can focus on them to be faster. Here are some cheap NPC loves:
  • Lily - Taro Root (can be grown in Fall at Town Rank D)
  • Jim - Wasabi, Shiitake (foraged in Spring)
  • Emma - All beach shells (foraged from the beach in any season)
  • Yuri - Frogfish (caught in any season)

Popular Newcomer
Reach heart 5 with 25 NPCs
The easiest was to get many different NPCs the 5 hearts is to focus on universal likes (every crop, dried ocean forage-ables, artisinal goods, many recipes). It will take longer than using loves, but you can keep a stack in your inventory, and hand them out to anyone you see. It's less work that remembering 25 different loves at once.

The Best of Friends
Reach heart 10 with an NPC
This achievement is easy if you focus on the NPC you want to marry. Just learn their loves, and you'll get it over time. The achievement will pop as soon as you have the interaction that puts you at 10 hearts.

Social Butterfly
Reach heart 8 with 25 NPCs
Again, I recommend keeping a stack of a universal like to hand out frequently. Something you can produce a lot of, and for cheap, like hot peppers.

Coral Island's Sweetheart
Reach heart 8 with All NPCs
You only have to get the romanceable NPCS to 8 hearts for this one. Just keep gifting every week, and you'll get this one eventually. Ir recommend making as many Slime of Replication as you can, and multiplying Pink Diamonds, as they're almost universally loved. It makes it easy to have a multipurpose gift on hand to dole out as you play the game normally. You may have to go out of your way for some NPCs if you don't run into them frequently. The achievement will pop when you give the final gift to get the final NPC to 8 hearts, not the night that shows you the updated relationships.

The badge is obtainable in game, but the Steam achievement does not trigger at the moment. This is a known bug.
This achievmenent is now working!
Farm and Skill Based Achievements
Simple Life
Harvest 100 crops
You'll likely get this before the end of your first Summer. Especially if you focus on crops the can regrow and can be bought at Town Rank F, like blueberries, corn, and hot peppers. These are all summer crops, as there are no Rank F plants that regrow in the Spring. If you have money from an EA savefile, you can easily get this in Spring too.

Specialty Farmer
Ship one crop 1000 times
Again, a regrowing crop is best for this achievement. I recommend maxing out on hot peppers at the very start of Summer, since they will grow through to the end of Fall. If you start early, and buy enough, you can do this your first year easily.

New Rancher on the Block
Ship 2 animal products
Once you have constructed your first coop, the cheapest animal, and likely the first you'll get, is the Chicken for 600 . Just don't forget to source some hay to feed your animals, and this achievement will follow in a few days.

Fresh from the Farm
Ship 5 animal products
Same as above, just keep your animals fed, and this achievement is easy.

Variety Farmer
Ship 30 different crops
It's not possible to do this achievement with Town Rank F, because you only have access to 17 or so seeds to start. Try to get Town Rank E quickly, by clearing the Ocean, donating to the museum, and completing altars at the Lake temple. Once you have more variety of seeds available, buy at least one of every seed at the start of the season, and you'll get this achievement in no time.

Specialty Rancher
Ship one animal product 1000 times
You could do this achievement more efficiently, by filling multiple coops with one animal type. But, if you just play normally, you'll get this eventually that way too.

Grade A Only
Ship a golden animal product
Golden animal products can be gotten when an animal has won an Animal Festival event, has reached 5 hearts, and is well-fed. The Animal Festival is on Summer 12, so make sure you have at least one animal (chicken or cow) to compete by your first year.

Operation Trophy Rancher
Ship all animal products
The total amount of animal products is 24 currently. This will require a minimum Town Rank of B, and several Coops, and Barns to house all the animals. You also must win the Cow and Chicken competitions at the Animal Festival (Summer 12) in order for your animals to produce the golden animal products. If you have all animals and aren't sure why you haven't gotten this one yet, try starving your Animal Festival winners for a few days, then feed them. The goal is to get them to produce small versions of their produce. That was the last thing I needed. Here is the complete list:
  • Egg

  • Golden Egg

You Name It We Sell It
Ship all crops
There are a total of 48 seed crops in the game; this achievement only applies to seed crops, not anything that comes from trees. A minimum Town Rank of C is required to be able to purchase all seeds Sam's General Store. It will take too long to list every single crop, so if you're unsure what you're missing check the wiki page (you can also check your Crops collection, but you'll get this achievement before that list is full):
https://coralisland.fandom.com/wiki/Crop

Legendary Farmer
Ship everything in the game
This achievement requires shipping:
69 Fish
45 Ocean Critters
53 Insects
125 Crops
78 Artifacts
35 Gems
60 Fossils
45 Beach and Ocean Foraged Items
37 Seasonal Foraged Items
You can check whether or not you've sold the items before, but it's tedious especially for things with quality stars. @___Kat___ and @Slappy from the discord made this excellent spreadsheet to help you keep track of everything you need to ship for this achievement:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1fcCuViIc4QtoY9BZHbJGVXZmuCYVnH7-ol5uXvflSww/edit?gid=1015201456#gid=1015201456

I re-shipped everything old in the game, and still wasn't able to unlock this one. I managed to get it after shipping a Small and Large Ostrich Egg, and a Small and Large Buffalo Milk on top of all the other categories.

This is Coral Island
Reach level 10 mastery in everything
Most skills aren't that hard to do. Just make sure you're focusing on new skills if you tend to default to a favorite that is already max level. Mining, diving, and fishing are great to do in the Winter, when farming, ranching and foraging are slower. Just be careful, once you unlock a skill, you can't change them, so choose wisely (you can buy the last skill point with town points though). Combat is by far the slowest skill, but here is a method that makes it a little bit faster:
  • Go to level 15 of the fire mines. If there is an Advanced Slime, clear the level of all other monsters, and rocks to make moving around easier. If there isn't, continue descending the mines until you find one (they spawn in wind and fire only).
  • Once you have one, keep it alive and kite as it spawns the babies, and kill those. You can do this until your day ends, which gives xp faster than traditional methods, because there are a set amount of enemies that spawn on each level.
Step 1:

Step 2:
Map Unlocking Based Achievements
Gulliver's Voyage
Gain access to Giant's Village
First, you need to complete Mythical Dream Quest, then visit the Lake Temple at least once. I completed the Spring Sesajen altar while I was there. Then go to the cavern, where you will meet with the Chieftain. He will task you with freeing the Earth Giant (Petrified Giant I Quest). Go to level 40 of the Earth mine, and interact with the glowing green tablet. This will free the Earth Giant. After sleeping, you will receive a letter beckoning you to the Village from Grog. The Giant's Village is directly left of your farm, across a log spanning the river. He will force the roots back, revealing the path the the Village. After the cutscene, the achievement will unlock.

Undersea Mystery
Gain access to Merfolk Kingdom
The Merfolk Kingdom can be encountered once you clear enough trash from the Ocean, and unlock enough beacons. The entrance is located 35m under the sea, at the far east of the ocean you can access before entering the kingdom. I decided against adding a map, because I feel like exploring and unlocking the ocean on your own is worthwhile. The achievement will unlock as soon as you solve the mini puzzle outside of the main gate.
Map Restoration Based Achievements
Healing the World
Restore the temple
To fully restore the temple, you must complete 20 categories on the altars. There are 4 altars: Crop, Catch, Advanced, and Rare. Each altar has 6 subcategories that require 5 offerings each. Items that can be donated have a symbol under them when you view them in your inventory, similar to things you can donate at the museum. I recommend staying on top of the seasonally exclusive foraged items, crops, bugs, and fish, so you don't have to wait a whole other year to complete these altars. If an item in your inventory has this symbol, it still needs to be donated to an altar:

Here is a great guide I've used during EA to keep track of what is required for each altar:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2904739229
Healing the Ocean
Heal all the sick coral
In order to heal all coral, you must activate every beacon starting at 10m all the way down to 60m. There is no way around it; this is a grindy one. I usually do ocean clearing sessions in the early game winter, when I can only grow wild seeds. Make sure to only bring a net and a scythe, and one type of energy-rich food, as it's an exhaustive process. The achievement will pop once you activate the last beacon.

Darkest Cavern
Clear all the mine gates
There are 4 different mines: Earth, Water, Wind, and Fire. Once you reach floor 40 in the Earth mine, the Water mine will be unlocked. That goes for the rest of the mines sequentially, as well. You could do this a lot faster if you focused on finding the path down rather than clearing levels for monsters and ore. Keep in mind that the rocks become harder with each new mine, so you'll want to upgrade your pickaxe to waste less time. You can also craft Rope, to descend one level in the mine automatically. The achievement will pop as soon as you enter the floor 40 Fire Mine.
Shopping Based Achievements
Stylemaker
Purchase 10 clothing items
Clothing can be purchased at the clothing store, White Flamingo (Town Rank E), online, using the Sturdy Computer which can be crafted with Battery x10, Silver Bar x5, Bronze Ore x10, and Scrap x70, from the Concerned Monkey in the Abandoned Cabin by the Mines, and at various Festival shops. The cheapest clothes are 250 , so the cheapest this achievement can be done is with 2,500 . This one only unlocked for me once I bought some full outfits from the clothing store, despite having bought 30+ clothing items online, and about half of the Concerned Monkey's achievement unlocked clothing.

Fashionista
Purchase 50 clothing items
See above for info on shopping spots. The clothing gradually gets more expensive, so the cheapest this achievement can be done is 18,600 . I somehow got this one after Fashion Guru, after buying some clothes from White Flamingo.

Fashion Guru
Purchase all clothing items
This is best done once you have an excess of coins, in late game. There are approximately 265 pieces of clothing in the game. It will cost you easily over half a million coins. I got this after purchasing some random clothes online, that I'm fairly certain I had already bought.
Cooking and Crafting Based Achievements
Home Cook
Cook 15 recipes
First you need to upgrade your house, until it has a kitchen. Recipes can be learned from reaching certain heart levels with NPCs, upon which they will send you a letter, unlocking the recipe. Some are gotten through reaching a certain level in a skill, and some can be made manually. You also need the proper utensils from Socket and Pan. To manually cook you can follow the recipes on the wiki to avoid wasting materials trying to figure them out yourself: https://coralisland.fandom.com/wiki/Cooking

Chef de Cuisine
Cook all recipes
There are 106 recipes total. Even unlocking them manually, they require lots of different ingredients, including artisinal animal products and higher town rank produce, so this achievement will likely be one of the later ones you complete. I try to save a few of the highest quality crops, animal products, foraged fished and caught items at the end of every season, so I don't have to wait a whole other year if I need them for something. Unless you're very on top of the season crop and fish, I recommend you do this too. It is now possible to do, but you must cook each once manually. I recommend storing them in a chest to keep track of what you cooked manually; it will help you keep track of what you still have to do.

Handy Farmer
Craft 15 things
You start the game with 7 crafting recipes unlocked. You will learn more as you explore, skill, and build relationships with the Townies. If you care to rush this achievement, you can craft simple and cheap things like the various types of paths, fences, signs, and basic fertilizers. This only unlocked for me once I crafted a bunch of decor things, even though I had definitely crafted 15 things including most fertilizers and chests.

DIY Expert
Craft all things
There are roughly 161 craftables in the game by my count. It would take too long to list them here, but they involve hitting level 10 in all skills, and purchasing things like scarecrows to learn their crafting recipes. Also keep in mind that anything crafted in the EA doesn't count, you have to do it all again. I will link a spreadsheet that was made by @___Kat___ in the discord that can help you track everything you need to craft:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jPEFPLu2zgklVIrC2DkZTK7nZiwDAj9Rn5lS7zRb8n8/edit?gid=0#gid=0

This achievement is technically possible, but it is known to be very buggy. Try crafting everything in a category in one go.
Collection Based Achievements
Bug Fancier
Complete bug collection
There are 53 insects total. I recommend placing lots of crawling and flying traps in the insect spawn locations as soon as you can afford multiples. You also need to unlock the Forest (Mid) by completing the Crop Altar. I recommend doing this ASAP, so you don't miss out on some the of the next years seasonal bugs that spawn there. I made a more complete guide on insects, you can check it out here:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3079113224
Fishing Mania
Complete fish collection
There are 69 fish total. My only tip, if you want to get this one done succinctly, is to not let the seasons pass by without catching the season-exclusive fish. I already made a guide of all fish species and how to catch them, including location, season, weather, and pricing. Check it out here:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3048969012
Marine Observer
Complete sea critter collection
There are 45 sea critters total. This is the only collection I didn't complete in the EA, so I don't have as much knowledge on it. I will say that clearing the ocean is very grindy, so if you just always have a net on you, you'll likely get a huge portion of these without trying, as I did. They do spawn at certain depths, and season, but unlike the other catch-ables, weather doesn't matter. They also have afk traps, like insects, so make sure to use those. Here is my guide with more specific info:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3082101479
Memento of the Past
Complete artifact collection
There are 77 artifacts total. Artifacts can be found through coffers from tilling, fishing, buying form the black market, and clearing trash nodes in the ocean. Here is the wiki page with additional information like rarieties, and specific coffer types (if you're just missing a few):
https://coralisland.fandom.com/wiki/Artifact

Bejeweled
Complete gem collection
There are 35 gems total. You can find them in the Caverns, by tilling the farm and Tree Planting Festival, or by opening geodes at the Blacksmith's. They can also occasionally be purchased at the Black Market, and received as gifts. Certain gems can only be found in specific geodes, so I'll leave the wiki for that here:
https://coralisland.fandom.com/wiki/Gem

Paleontologist
Complete dinosaur collection
There are 60 fossils total. You can find fossil nodes through a variety of activities, that are then processed at the lab to turn into fossils. Fossil nodes are found by tilling soil, clearing ocean trash nodes, and breaking rocks anywhere on the island. Again, only certain activities net certain fossil nodes, so if you are looking for the last few for your collection, check the wiki page:
https://coralisland.fandom.com/wiki/Fossil

Part-Time Curator
Complete museum collection
The complete museum collection includes bugs, fish, sea critters, artifacts, fossils, and gems. Totaled, this is 345 donate-able items. This will likely be one of the last achievements you get, just down to RNG with the artifacts, gems, and fossils.
Combat Based Achievements
Ironclad Slayer
Slay 10 enemy types
There are 11 main types of monsters that can be found in the mines.
  • Advanced slime
  • Amalo
  • Armolite
  • Bat
  • Ombuto
  • Pickling
  • Skully
  • Slime
  • Snatcher
  • Sphekter
  • Tuku-tuku
The monsters are the base form, and each mine has its own variant for most monster types: Earth, Water, Wind, and Fire respectively. In theory you can get this achievement before clearing the entire Earth Mine, but the mine-specifics variants are less common.

Untouchable
Slay 20 enemy types
You'll get this as you continue to clear the mines. If you want this achievement faster, buy the best sword you can afford, bring food, and don't descend any mine levels until you have cleared all enemies.

B.O.S. Finest
Slay all enemy types
There are 23 total types of enemies, including all sub-types. This achievement is now working if you're playing the updated version. Rather than list them all here, checkout the Coral Island wiki page for the complete list:
https://coralisland.fandom.com/wiki/Monster
Afterword
As stated before, this guide will be a work in progress. I will update as new information is discovered.

@dataVi If you previously cooked things not-manually then the counter would show 1, but your 'achievement progress' would be 0. That tip comes from me trying to figure out what I needed to still cook with no '0s' under my recipes. That method was really helpful in my case, and I'm sure there are other people in a similar situation.
dataVi 26 FEB a las 11:37 p. m.
Chef de cuisine - There's no need to keep your cooked food items in a chest for tracking purpsoes. The game keeps track of how many of each dish you cooked. You can see it on the right of the recipe card just below the name. It'll say something like "Cooked 4x" or NEW with a red background if you haven't cooked it yet.

From the most recent patch: "Fixed Steam achievements not registering. We have fixed almost all achievements issues except the following sometimes won't unlock: Gulliver's Voyage, Undersea Mystery, Darkest Cavern. Don't worry, we will fix that in the next hotfix."

It's possible the new update bugged some things out for any other people having this isse.
