In this case, you can start crafting weapons! This is a good way to get the expensive design you want on your weapon without spending a lot of money.

What are crafts (exchange contracts) in CS GO

For those who want to acquire more expensive and rare skins, but cannot buy them, Valve has created a special mode - exchange contracts. This is a tool that allows you to create expensive models for weapons from cheaper skins.

With its help, you can make a really expensive gun out of consumer goods that don’t cost a ruble! But it is impossible to immediately create a very expensive one from the cheapest skin. Everything is consistent.

The bottom line is this: for every 10 skins a player can get a new, more expensive and rare one. How does this happen? Each player is given this tool at the very beginning. And he, by beating in games or buying consumer goods, can gradually collect the most expensive skin. Naturally, this will require time and money.

Is it more profitable to open cases or buy?

An exchange contract, or simply crafting, may turn out to be almost the most profitable option. This is a good way to get the desired skin without investing practically in it - after all, crafting from consumer goods is quite cheap.

But it’s worth remembering: in order to craft a gun of high rarity, you will have to sequentially go through all the stages of improvement from the most common one. That is, for weapons of the “Red (Ancient)” rarity, you will need 10 guns of the “Pinkish-Purple (Legendary)” rarity! And only if they are from the same collection. And for them, in turn, the trunks of the previous gradation. And so on until consumer goods.

In this regard, cases that drop random weapons can be more profitable - after all, they may drop not consumer goods, but rare or classified weapons. And the purchase, even if it costs more than crafting or cases, will immediately give the player what he wants.

How to craft in CS GO: general rules

The principles of exchange contracts are quite strict. Before you try to collect the desired skin, you should familiarize yourself with them so that crafting in CS GO does not become offensive. After all, there is a chance to be left without accumulated trunks, without receiving anything good in return.

What factors influence crafting

You need to select weapons from collections.
If you need to get a top quality skin from any collection, then you need to provide 10 weapons from the same collection, but those that are more common.

You can mix weapons if you want to experiment.
You can use guns from different collections. In this case, the likelihood of getting the desired skin drops - options will be selected depending on the weapons offered in the contract. At the same time, she will hesitate.

For example, if a contract offers 7 skins of one type and 3 of another, then the new gun is more likely to belong to the first collection. But there will still be a chance of weapons dropping from another collection - and you can also count on this to make profitable crafts!

The better the degree of wear, the higher the quality will be in the end.
Depending on the appearance of the skins used, the final one will be created. For example, if you exchange 10 shotguns as “Battle-Scarred”, it will be almost impossible to get the “Factory New” skin. But if the same shotguns are in “Factory New” quality, then the likelihood of getting a brand new paint job increases greatly.

What you can’t craft from

The following types of weapons cannot be offered for exchange:

Souvenir options;
1.Any knives;
2.The most expensive and rare guns from the collection;
3.Weapon rarity “Red (Ancient) – secret”.

It's very simple to explain. These types have nowhere to develop - they are highest in the “hierarchy”. That is, they cannot be upgraded.

It is worth remembering that it is impossible to get a knife through crafting in CS GO. Unfortunately, the developers did not provide such an opportunity. That's why knives are so expensive.

Chance of dropping the desired weapon

With each craft, there is a percentage with which the desired skin will appear. It changes depending on the weapons included in the contract.

For example, in the Spectrum 2 collection there are two weapons of the Red (Ancient) rarity. And they can be obtained from the “Pinkish Purple (Legendary)” weapon from the same collection. If you fill the contract cells with exactly these guns (this can be 10 PP-Bisons “Excitement” or 5 Revolvers R8 “Lama Cannon” and 5 M4A1-S “Crystal”, as well as any other variations), then the probability of dropping P250 “Farewell Grin” "or AK-47 "Empress" are the same. That is, with a 50% probability you will receive either one or a second gun.

The percentage will change if you add a pistol or machine gun from another collection. For example, if you replace one M4A1-S "Crystal" from the Spectrum 2 collection with an M4A1-S "Devastator" from the Spectrum collection, then there will be a minimal chance of getting an AK-47 "Bloodsport" or USP-S "Neo-Noir".

The drop rates for a particular weapon will always be shown. Therefore, you can calculate whether the desired skin will be obtained.

Will crafting recipes help?

Unfortunately, recipes are not an option. In exchange contracts, simple mathematics works. Therefore, the chance of a barrel falling out always depends only on the number of barrels of the same collection in the contract. For example, from 10 guns of the same type, but of the lowest rarity, three variants of the final weapon can be obtained. And each one falls out with a probability of 33.(3)%. It depends on your luck.

How to craft a knife in CS GO?

You shouldn’t believe the myths that you can get a first-class knife from a bunch of not very high-quality guns. Or that it can be obtained at all. Unfortunately, Valve did not want to give players the opportunity to exchange a bunch of unnecessary weapon skins for the desired knife.
