Land Rover Hotspur (UPDATED)

The Land Rover Hotspur, named after the location where the armour was produced, was an armoured vehicle based on the Land Rover Defender used by the Royal Ulster Constabulary of Northern Ireland and was adopted during the Troubles. It was based on a 109 civilian Defender chassis with bolted on armour to protect against gunfire, petrol bombs and IEDs. It was accompanied by the Land Rover Simba, another 109 Land Rover vehicle.
