Mandalorian Faith

Description
This is a mod that adds Mandalorians as an unreformed pagan faith, with holy sites consolidated around the North Sea and Baltic Sea. It also has added flavor from Mandalorian names inspired by real characters.

I created this mod out of inspiration from a friend asking if there were Mandalorians in a Jedi/Sith mod I had installed while I was showing it off in a Discord call. While that mod unfortunately didn't have any Mandos, I took to liberty to make them myself.
You can find the other mod that inspired this project here:

This is my first CK3 mod I've ever had the pleasure of creating, and the first mod for anything I've made since 2017. If you have any compliments or criticisms of my handiwork, I implore you to leave comments, I will read them 100%. As I learn the file structure and encoding of the game, I will possibly add special mechanics and decisions to this faith in addition to what I have already created.

The court chaplains are still called shamans and high shamans for some reason. Not sure if that is intentional as I do not recall Mando shamans being a thing.

The gay shahada in the files was a icon I used as a placeholder taken from the CK3 port of After the End. I used it because I thought it was funny

Why is there a gay shahada in the files?

Good morning,
After a quick test, I tend to agree with your elements on this religion.
In terms of holy places, I would have seen elements further away from each other, with Iceland as the first holy place (far enough away to be the cradle of Mandalor).
It could be interesting to have holy places of conflict linked to the holy leiu of the "star wars religions" mod.

If you want to get inspired there is also the "Mandalorian Culture + Religion (1.6)" mod, the culture is a little too strong for my taste, it unbalances the game a bit too much.

Very cool! I'm testing this and I'll post again for an opinion!
In any case, great initiative!
I suggested this to the Star Wars Religions mod, in the discussion section.

In truth, I have too many ideas for this type of mod, but I absolutely don't know how to code or mod.
All I know is that CK3 is not made for overlapping several mods, it would be interesting to see if you can get in touch with the other modder to make a single mod.
If I make myself useful to them, don't hesitate

Hey there!
Mandalorians in canon outside of the influence of the Death Watch are actually quite pluralist in their beliefs. They actually had a whole war amongst themselves about it at one point, where the Death Watch wanted to return their people to the tradition of a stricter code. Thank you for your input tho! :)

I feel like the Mandalorians, particularly those of The Way, would be either Righteous or Fundamentalist if anything. Pluralist seems a bit too tolerant of them lol
