ID Finder

Description
Find the creature you want out of the 4 billion possible ids.

How to use:
The UI is in the mod's Remix interface. Select a query from the drop down and click the ADD button to add it to the search. Use the checkboxes to enable looking for a value on a specific trait. Use the "bias" multiplier to favor certain traits over others (should not need to do this most of the time).

When you are ready to search, enter your id range and click the SEARCH button. Each individual search query is returned as a separate result in the output. To search over all ids, enter the range as 0 to -1.

Joining requests disclaimer
When joining requests, your final result may be far from what you expected. Most of the items on the list share the same random numbers and just do slightly different things with them. Some of your requests may conflict, and the mod will just get you as close as it can to your request. Non-conflicting examples include scavenger colors with scavenger stats or personality.

To join requests, click the teal + button next to a request and it will join with the request above it. The mod will search for an id that satisfies all joined requests. When not joined, it will continue to work individually.

General disclaimer
It is very unlikely that an id with your exact search query actually exists. This mod will find the closest one to it in your search range.

Bugs and feature requests
If you find any bugs, please comment or put in a discussion thread what the bug is and how to reproduce it and I will look into it. If you have any feature requests (such as other things to search for or just extra utility), also make sure to tell me and I might get around to adding it if I have time. If you wish to contribute to the mod, you can check out the GitHub page: https://github.com/alduris/id-finder

@BallsDeep69 there are no slugpup-specific personalities, only general creature personalities. It’s located under the “Personality” option

i might be just blind but i cant find any option for slugpup personalities, i only see behaviors food stats and variations

@Manyack =) try playing around with it on your own, exploring what the different options do. Also, if you're in the Rain World Discord server, you can ask @topapopato, who seems to be the resident lizard finding expert

Question, is there documentation for what each of the options do ? trying to find a cyan lizard (my beloved) and i have no idea what the options are as they don't align with the wiki, (like graphic on tailtuft, and two lines or patch i don't get it at all)

@chromo a higher bias basically just multiplies the calculated distance for that factor. Like if some feature contributed a distance of 0.5 and the bias was set to 3, it would actually contribute 0.5 * 3 = 1.5

oh i just noticed the "results" input lol that's probably why. but still, "bias" doesn't seem to change the distances in the way that i expect if it acts as a tolerance value.

would be nice if you could specify the maximum distance/error from the value specified by the slider. like if I want to find the ids of all centipedes with a length 0.8±0.2. the "bias" value seems to kind of change the distances/errors reported but it doesn't seem to change the number of ids found for the search query. I also have no idea what bias does.
