From the Everglades cultures like the Timucua and Calusa, the later of which had a capital and pyramid temples as advanced as Cahokia, controlling a large kingdom. The Mayaimi, a Florida offshoot of the Mayans. There theres the Caribbean. Theres the Ciboney, likely a Florida import, the Kalinago, aka the Caribs who it has been found did not practice cannibalism and were not as warlike Europeans reported. Finally we have the Seminole and Haiti, both fought wars for surival or freedom.
