Character Editor Tweaks

Description
Reduces the extreme values in the character editor to make the characters appear more 'normal' looking, as well as adding new skin tones to the Greenlanders, Scorchlanders, Hivers, and Skeletons.

Characters with body shapes will not be affected, e.g., Beep, Agnu, as they have .bod2.

Notable changes:

Made the skeletons' values closer to default. I felt that the skeletons' body proportions shouldn't vary significantly from one to another.

Made male humans and Shek slightly taller than the females.

Made the Hivers' faces more uniform for each subgroup and added a green skin tone to introduce some variety.

Using the randomize button can create faces instead of monstrosities.

@StarCornet dw I was joking but really gender shouldn't change anything in height

@Grind my guts sorry ⩌ᆺ⩌ but if you want to change it, go to where the mod is downloaded, find editor_data_bone_people.xml, and look for:

<Config gender="Female">

</Category>
<Category name="Body">
<Range max="110" min="95" mid="105" name="Height"/>

and change the max range, 125 might be good.

@Star Cornet Thank you for the answer and yeah, I was suspecting the same thing! But it turned out to be that "appearance random deviation percentage" and "face weirdness" modifiers in FCS were the culprits.

@Lazern I'm not sure what could be causing that problem, but if you are using my mod with the custom .bod2, maybe the ranges of the custom .bod2 are beyond the min and max settings that I have set up, causing errors. wish i could help you out more.

Hey man, maybe you can help me solve a problem. I made custom .bod2 exported from character creator for certain unique npcs in the game that lacked them, I add to them to my mod no problem but when I'm in-game their faces are slightly morphed than what I made myself, like super long nose or super thicc head or something. Do you know what might be causing this? I'm only running my own mod and using faces from radiant faces.

@Snicks The utility of this mod is precisely what is written in the description. You are mistaken in your belief that that the 'face weirdness' variable on faction pages is the only source of character body dimension data. The initial dimension limits when a new character's body is created is defined by the editor limits file set for each race and subrace, face weirdness is applied after that. I just tested this to make 100% certain, but I think you should have done that yourself before posting incorrect information that might lead others to forego another modder's work.

I'm afraid I don't see the utility in this mod. Random face gen (for npcs at least) is already dictated by faction, so normal factions don't get heavily varying features from a normal face. Seems like it only restricts the character creator.
