What is the Quarterstaff?
The Quarterstaff..... Hmmmmm... Its the stick? The wierd pole thing with metal at both ends. Seriously though :)

The Quarterstaff is infamous for being the fastest 2 handed weapon in the game. Quite impressive hey? It was also the first 2 handed weapon for the Man At Arms class.

Here are some basics stats:
The damage is low, and yes the reach is quite terrible. But its fast and annoying, and because nearly nobody uses it in the right hands it can do a lot of damage.
How do we use this pole/stick thing?
What we think is going down:
Whats really going down:
Well, on a more serious note..... You see this weapon has quite a low damage rating and also quite a ♥♥♥♥ reach. So our key here is speed.

How are we going to use this speed? This is what we do. When fighting somebody, dont try play the distance game, you know what I mean. Those annoying newbie Vangaurds who just stand at a distance poking you. Nonononono, you are going to die if you try that with the Pain Cane.

When engaging in combat, always be up in the enemies face. This way we eliminate the problem of distance. Now, we know that this is the fastest 2 handed shizzle in the game, so..... When the person lowers their guard beat the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ out of them! :D Chances are if you have good footwork and can feint, you will be able to just jump into them and smash the living potato out of them.

This was all very basic so far... Now we getting serious.

Dodging: Very important, with the PainCane we try to deal as much damage as fast as possible, and usually taking a hit will result in us losing our footing and dying. Learn how to dodge as the Man At Arms class! (V is the default key)

Footwork: You are fast, so use your speed.... Keep moving around them, poking when you see an open spot, and once they let up just beat the them to a pulp.

Ducking: When those fatass newbies who swing at you with the biggest weapon the could select, pro tip here ----> DUCK. (Default key Ctrl). Most people dont expect this, and when you are level with the jewels, yes, once again.... Just beat the crap out of them. :3

Maybe I think it is usually a couple of swings and a thrust that I see but it may well be overheads as I don't know what it looks like.

Is it really only 24% damage? I get 3 hitted as a knight all the time.
