This is a guide for all GTA IV Story Mode and DLC Achievements.
I'm sorry, If I made any mistakes in my vocabulary, grammar or just gave false information about some achievements.
Please feel free to correct me by typing your suggestion in the comments section.
Moreover, I have separated the achievements in a clear order in which you might follow.

In this section of the Guide you will see all the achievements, that you will unlock while trying to finish the story mode of GTA IV.

Off The Boat

Pretty good explanation (again), you just have to complete the mission called Uncle Vlad or mission #13, in which you kill Vlad because he messed with the wrong person.

Lowest Point

Pretty good explanation (once again), you just have to complete the mission called Roman's Sorrow or mission #25,which Dimitri burns down your house and Roman's taxi business because of the failed assassination attempt to kill Niko by Dimitri.

Full Exploration

To get this achievement, you actually don't have to do anything crazy, you just have to complete the mission Three Leaf Clover or mission #38, which you just rob the biggest bank in LC nothing crazy.

Impossible Trinity

Pretty good explanation, you just have to complete the mission called Museum Piece or mission #63, although the meeting gets ambushed by Luis from TBOGT and suddenly everybody in the museum becomes your enemy and you try to get out of there.

Gracefully Taken

Pretty good explanation, you just have to complete the mission called I'll Take Her or mission #62, which you kidnap Gracie (Daughter of one of the most known mob boss) that's it pretty much.

That Special Someone

Pretty good explanation, you just have to complete the mission called That Special Someone or mission #84, by receiving a call from U.L Paper, in which you meet your old friend from the war (Darko Brevic), you can either kill him or spare him the choice is yours. (by the way it doesn't affect the storyline or the 100%)

Liberty City Minute

This achievement is actually misable

Basically for this achievement, you have to finish the entire game under 30 hours which is not that hard, but be careful to only do the main missions not the other available content, after you finish the story mode, you can continue with the rest of the content this game has to offer.

Miscellaneous

In this section of the guide you will see all the achievements that, you will unlock after doing one specific task in the game.

Warm Coffee

To get this achievement, you first have to date a female, there are total of 5 females that Niko can date, those are Michelle/Karen, Kate McReary, Sobohoe, Lawchick and Alexandra Chilton.

But, Michelle will be locked after the mission called The Snow Storm or mission #33 and you cannot try your luck with Kate because she won't invite you to her house even if you try your best.

To date Sobohoe, Lawchick or Alexandra Chilton you have to go to the internet cafe and head to lovemeet .net or craplist .net after that you can either date either Sobohoe, Lawchick or Alexandra Chinton because they are the only ones that you can date.

Though to date them, first you have to press DATE or Contact me in their profile, after that you need to wait for their response.




After they respond, interact with them positively so you can trigger the first date, after the first date, you need to wait 48 hours (in-game) for another date and at the end of the second date, if you try your luck and it's successful. Congratulations the achievement is yours, but if it's not successful then wait another 48 hours (in-game) then try your luck, with the third date.

Walk Free

Pretty good explanation, but for those who don't understand, to get this achievement you have to escape a 4 star wanted level in a car, bike or a helicopter.

Half Million

To get this achievement, just play the game normally after some time, you will probably reach the 500k balance so don't worry to much about this achievement.

Pool Shark

To get this achievement, you have to call your friend (5 in total), go play pool with them and win the match to get this achievement also the pool place is located right here:

Wheelie Rider

To get this achievement, you first have to go to the airport and after that find yourself a clear runway, or you can just come here:

After finding a clear runway, make sure to go slow because if you go fast, you may end up not getting the achievement, also press CTRL gently and not that hard.

It'll Cost Ya

Pretty good explanation and not that hard, but people who want to do it the quickest way should come here and also waypoint here:

After that just get in a taxi and select the waypoint, and just enjoy the ride until you get your achievement.

One Hundred And Eighty

Decent explanation, but you will need a friend or a random NPC to get this achievement and go right here on the map:

One Man Army

Pretty clean explanation, but it's actually pretty easy, first of all start a new game then finish the first mission after that come to this place:


You will see some stairs that goes upwards, now start running on the train tracks and eventually you will get 6 stars but don't stop until you get inside of a tunnel which is straight no left or right.

Gobble Gobble

This is the only achievement that I cannot explain so I'm just going to leave a video here.

Chain Reaction

Now, for this achievement you have to blow 10 cars or bikes in 10 seconds and the best place to do the achievement is right here in the map:

After that, you should be able to see WestDyke Autos and do it like in this screenshot:

Moreover, if you have an RPG just shoot at the bikes and the car but be quick because it's only 10 seconds, if you manage to do it successfully, the achievement is yours!

Rolled Over

For this achievement, you have to do 5 car rolls but not in a row if you want you can do it consecutively but the trick is you cannot let your foot out of the gas, so you have to drive almost the entire time for it to work and the best place to do this achievement is in the airport because there are a lot of objects that would help you with this achievement.

Finish Him

To get this achievement, you have to complete 10 melee counters in 4 minutes, basically when you start a fight with an NPC, you have to K.O him, to be exact when the NPC is trying to punch you, press SPACE then LEFT Click or R, that's a melee counter and the best part is you can do it 2 times in one NPC, basically let's say you started a fight with an NPC and you melee countered him but his health is still plenty then you can melee counter him and it would still count. The best location to do it is in this place right here:

By the way, If you health is in red bar then there is a Hot-Dog stand, you can eat there to regain your health, also if you die the timer doesn't stop so even if you die you can still on going.

Sightseer

Now, for this achievement, you have to go on a 5 trips inside of a helicopter which is located right here on the map:

When you arrive there, there are 2 helicopters on the front of the helipad and 3 on the back and you must attend all of them to get this achievement, by the way you don't have to sit through all those tours, you can skip it and it will cost you 750$ for all 5 tours.

Under The Radar

To unlock this achievement, you have to fly through 14 bridges which are located right here:

GTA: TLAD

In this section of the guide you will see achievements, that you will unlock whilst playing The Lost And Damned DLC.

TLAD: One Percenter

To get this achievement, you have to complete the first mission of the DLC.

TLAD: Get Good Wood

To get this achievement, you have to knock down 69 bikers while racing, I know this might seem hard but believe me it's pretty easy, the actual hardest part is to squeeze them to a place which they cannot move and you have the time to knock them from the bike, although you have to lose the race for it to work. For a clear perspective, I will leave this video right here.

TLAD: Full Chat

To get this achievement, you first have to complete the mission called End Of Chapter, after that you can call Terry and Clay for backup, moreover you have to do gang wars to build their toughness up to 100%, I know this may seem hard but it's not, it's actually a long objective.

Also remember to deactivate the auto-save and manually save after each gang war is completed. This way when you end the gang war, if Terry and Clay have died, you can load previous save game and try to keep the same.

GTA: TBOGT

In this section of the guide you will see achievements, that you will unlock whilst playing The Ballad of Gay Tony DLC.

TBoGT: Gone Down

To unlock this achievement, you first have to complete the mission called High Dive or mission #13, after that all parachute jumps will be available and the location of those parachute jumps are:

TBoGT: Diamonds Forever

To unlock this achievement, you have to complete the mission called Not So Fast or mission #16.

TBoGT: Maestro

Pretty good explanation once again, you just have to defeat all the opponents (16 of them in 6 rounds) in the L.C. Cage Fighters Championship. (It unlocks after the mission called Momma's Boys)

TBoGT: Four Play

To unlock this achievement, you have to hit the flag four times not in a row but you know what I mean, although you need precise timing to hit it perfectly.

TBoGT: Past the Velvet Rope and TBoGT: Gold Star

Now, these two achievements is probably the worst achievements in probably gaming history (jk i have seen worse) anyways there are not a lot of tips that I can give in this achievements, just be patient and don't forget that after completing the story, you can replay the story missions just like in GTA V, and you don't have to complete all objectives in one sitting. For example let's say there are 2 objectives, one of them is to finish the mission under 4:00 minutes and the second is to not take any damage, and after finishing the mission you see that, you completed the first one but you took damage, don't worry the first one is completed now you can focus on the second one (not taking any damage) and after finishing it for the second time, you saw that you didn't take any damage but you failed under 4:00, it's done there, you fully completed that mission (100%) so now you can focus on other missions.

TBoGT: Adrenaline Junkie

To unlock this achievement, you have to get into Yusuf's Buzzard or any type of helicopter, after you have to get yourself very up, and jump out of the Buzzard or Heli and open your parachute at the last second before landing in the ground.

TBoGT: Catch The Bus

This achievement is actually worst than the Gold Star and I know the achievement might sound easy but believe me it's actually pretty damn hard, but you don't have to dance perfectly, you can make a couple of mistakes, just don't fail. Also, I would like to express my feelings about this achievement. (THIS ♥♥♥♥ SUCKS, WHO EVER DESIGNED THIS ACHIEVEMENT, SHOULD REALLY THINK ABOUT MAKING ANYMORE ACHIEVEMENTS, LIKE HE OR SHE OR IT IS TAKING THE ABSOLUTE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PISS) anyways once you catch the rhythm, it's still hard but not impossible.
