Easy Baller achievement without going through the hoop

You don't have to get the ball through the hoop to unlock the baller achievement - this guide will tell you how to do that.

Steps

1. Go to the basketball court in Versum Hill (Flesh Prince hideout).

2. Push the ball to the 3-point line by walking into it gently. After the ball is moving, run around it and block its path so it stops in the right spot. The ball tends to really want to keep moving, so you might have to block it a few times before it's in the right spot.



3. Stand away from the ball and line yourself up so the ball in directly between you and the hoop. Using keyboard and mouse makes this way easier than a controller - just look at the hoop and line yourself up for the shot.



4. Walk towards the ball until you're about 1 metre away from it. Using the keyboard will allow you to do perfect forward movement without messing with your aim, so you'll be lined up perfectly for the shot.

5. Use right click or (B/Circle if you insist on using a controller) to hit the ball with the back sweep.



6. Watch the ball bounce once and hit the net under the hoop.



7. Achievement get.

Just wanted to provide a small update, I didn't use this guide for getting the achievement BUT my "shot" hit the rim and the achievement was given. It seems like it's not uber precise, took me like 2-3 minutes of attempts.

@CriticalKid Hey dude, sorry it's taking so long for you. I'm pretty sure it has to go into the space directly under the hoop (where it would be if it fell through it), it won't work if it just hits the hoop and bounces off.

I don't think they updated the game on Steam since I unlocked it myself, but IDK for sure.

@Rathori I have tried this but i think might have to do with characters certain characters for me do the weird glitchy movement thing where you land a bunch but your already on the ground and it happened to me with the ball but only when I was Mesh or the Flesh Prince. But thank you!

@CriticalKid yeah, it's not included in the video, but it's described in step 2 in the guide - you gotta gently push the ball and the run around it and stand in its way, then repeat a few times until it stops or at least is moving very slowly. Trying to hit the ball while it's rolling will send it out at a random angle exactly as you described, but if it's going veeery slowly it doesn't affect the aim - you can actually see it moving very slowly in the video here.

I might do another recording of how to set up the shot.

This doesn't make it easier! When I try and stop the ball it just rolls the other way and when i sweep it it goes at random angle compared to where I am facing. Can someone help pls!
