Best FPS Settings for CS2
Da bot.døc
Counter Strike 2 (CS2) is still in Limited Beta, but it became available for lots of people, with lots of PC configurations. And as it turns out, a newer engine (Source 2) paired with improved graphics and higher quality textures means that some people will have trouble running the game at decent FPS for a competitive shooter game.

This guide has one main goal. To help you get the most FPS from your system in CS2. Some settings may help you a lot, while others might do nothing. It depends on your configuration and the updated Valve does to the game. Try and see what works for you.

Note: keep in mind that the game is still in Beta and it might have some issues that are going to be fixed eventually. Be patient and trust Valve are doing their best to make this new game a banger.

Introduction
Game Settings
VIDEO
----------
Resolution: Native Resolution - running on custom resolution might drop the FPS count.
Display Mode: Fullscreen - the best for performance.
Refresh Rate: Maximum available for your monitor
Laptop Power Savings (for laptops only): Disabled

ADVANCED VIDEO
---------------------------
Boost Player Contrast: Enabled
V-Sync: Disabled (some users say that Enabled gave them some extra stability)
Multisampling Anti-Aliasing: 4x / 2x (if you run on really low-end graphics cards) - usually 4x is the sweet spot and you don't need to go full 8x unless you have a RTX 4090.
Global Shadow Quality: High (in CS2 the shadows really affects the gameplay. Set it on Medium only if you have really low-end graphics card and you need extra fps).
Model / Texture Detail: High - this is a setting that doesn't affect FPS too much, so you can leave it to High. If you feel like needing more FPS, try Medium.
Shader Detail: Low
Particle Detail: Low - this actually gives a competitive advantage because you can see better throu the smoke.
Ambient Occlusion: Medium (it affects only the shadows casted by objects, so you can lower it a bit, but don't set it to Low).
High Dynamic Range: Quality - the performance impact is minimum and the flickering from Performance setting is not visible. You can try Performance if you feel like you need more FPS.
FidelityFX Super Resolution: Disabled (if you feel like you have big input lag, try Quality).
NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency: Enabled (some users reported that disabling this setting might give more stable FPS).

NVIDIA Driver Settings
If you have an NVIDIAGraphics Card, you can head over NVIDIA Control Panel (right click on desktop - NVIDIA Control Panel).

3D Settings - Adjust image settings with preview - Select "Use the advanced 3D image settings"
Then, head over to "Manage 3D Settings" and copy the settings from the images below.

Hit Apply.

Damn bro, this actually helped a ton, i was playing a workshop map, testing my FPS, i was getting around 100-130 fps, now im getting 130-160 fps, so around a ~20-30% fps increase, which is HUGE. <3 Thanks my guy!
