However, blue gems in general are a valuable and sought-after item in the CS community.
Some players find blue mag gems to be very valuable, and they can be a very unique addition to any collection.

Valuing a Blue Mag Gem

The value of a Blue Mag Gem.. its a very specialized subject and can be very personal, depending on multiple aspects. For example, there are already set-in-place tiers for the amount of blue in the entire AK-47 (more info on tiers here[broskins.com]):

• Tier 1: Cream of the crop. Most amount of blue in the AK (specially in the back where you can see most of it).
  
  
• Tier 2: Above average. Ranging goes from some blue to a lot of blue on the AK-47. Some tier 2 can look borderline tier 1 and some can look like tier 3.
  
  
• Tier 3: Below average. Less blue on the AK but there are very cool patterns for people that love silver and gold colors.

Because Blue Mag Gems are a more under-the-radar interest within the already deep rabbit hole of general Case Hardened patterns, their value is even more personal. Some people rank Blue Mag Gems by the amount of blue in the rest of the AK. Some people rank only by how blue the magazine is. Personally, I like to stick to the already standard way of valuing Blue Gems by how much blue the rest of the AK-47 has and also needs to have at least 95% blue in the magazine.

In addition to the factors listed above, the wear of the skin will also affect its value. Blue Mag Gems with lower wear levels (Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested) will generally be more valuable than those with higher wear levels (Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred).

Here are some additional tips for valuing a Blue Mag Gem:

Consider the rarity of the pattern. Some patterns are more rare than others, and this will be reflected in the price.
Compare the skin to other similar skins that have been sold recently. This will give you a good idea of what the current market value is.

I've been collecting Blue Mag Gems for a while now, and I've seen some truly incredible skins. But there's one in particular that made me fall in love with this type of pattern: the Shinigami.

The Shinigami is a Pattern 587 AK-47 Case Hardened skin owned by Furiousss. Full blue mag the Crown foil on the wood and the three Titan holos covering the yellowish part of the AK make it look absolutely stunning.
