Minor Faction Recruits

Description
Description

This simple mod allows to recruit troops of all minor factions, such as Hastati & Triarii from the Legion of the Betrayed.

Now you can finally fulfill your dream of leading an army of Triarii into battle!

How dos this work?

This mods extends the upgrade tree of all faction recruits to add the respective minor faction troops as upgrades.

Empire

Imperial Recruit -> Spark (Embers of the Flame)
Imperial Recruit -> Recruit Eleftheroi (Eleftheroi)
Imperial Recruit -> Hidden Pawn (Hidden Hand)
Imperial Recruit -> Hastati (Legion of the Betrayed)

Aserai

Aserai Recruit -> Beni Zilal Recruit (Beni Zilal)
Aserai Recruit -> Jawwal Recruit (Jawwall)
Aserai Recruit -> Koleman (Ghilman)

Battania

Battanian Volunteer -> Young Wolf (Wolfskins)

Khuzait

Khuzait Nomad -> Karakhuzait Nomad (Karakhergit)

Sturgia

Sturgian Recruit -> Recruit Forester (Forest People)
Sturgian Recruit -> Lake Rat Recruit (Lake Rats)
Sturgian Recruit -> Skolder Recruit (Skolderbroda)

Vlandia

Vlandian Recruit -> Sprout (Brotherhood of the Woods)
Vlandian Recruit -> Boar Novice (Company of the Golden Boar)

Compatibility

This mod just changes the entries of all faction recruits and is compatible with every other mod that does not touch these entries.

You can also safely load previous savegames and apply this mod.

Ok so I tested and it seems to work fine. Most of the troops are pretty weak compared to their counterparts but the vlandian boar recruits are better.

I am not able to test it for other versions but I assume, it will work for other versions as well since the mod only modifes a minor setting in the configuration files.

Just try it out, this mod won't break anything on load :)

Does it work with all versions, or only specific ones? I am currently stuck on 1.1.5 until the devs pick up the pace.

hi man, been trying to build up the yurt but i have no clue which version i need to use, any idea what i been doing? im using currently 1.2 sticks maybe thats the problem, hugs<3
