Transfer CS:GO config to CS2

In this guide, I'll show you how to transfer your config from CS:GO to CS2 since it doesn't do it automatically.

Step 1 - Find your CS:GO config

Follow this path in file explorer



In "userdata" you might see multiple files named as random numbers, select the one with the biggest file size (if should be the one with csgo config in it)



Once you've found your CS:GO config, open it, press CTRL + a (select all) and CTRL + c (copy)

Step 2 - Find CS2 config file location

Follow this path in file explorer



Right click on empty space and create a New Text Document



Open the file and copy your cs:go config here by pressing CTRL + v (paste)

Step 3 - Change couple of lines

use CTRL + f and write "noclipspeed"



Press File > Save as > Change Save as type to "All documents" > Rename the document as "autoexec.cfg" and remove the old text document

Didn't work? Try this!

Open console and write "exec autoexec"
