TOR Reworked
Door LuckyEddy
This mod is not a re-balance of any sort, instead, it’s a compilation of various modifications made by me to make the game more fun and more accessible to new and returning players. In short, this mod revamps a lot of things in the game such as Classes, Items, Crafting, etc.

Class Changes
This section contains the bulk of Mod. Here’s the list of changes:
  • The RT of some humanoid classes have been reduced to allow for more fluidity in combat.
  • New recruits will now come with higher base stats.
  • Most generic humanoid and unique classes now have most of their respective skills unlocked from level 1, as well as some new ones. (I'll let you see for yourself ;))
  • The activation rate of some Auto-skills has been revamped for them to trigger more often. For example, Meditate now has an activation rate of 50% (instead of 40%) and Magic Time! has an activation rate of 35% (instead of 25%).
  • Note that most of these changes will also affect the enemies and that you'll need to change class for the new skills to appear.

Spells Reworked
This mod makes some minor tweaks to some spells. More specifically to healing spells. I’m planning on adding to this section in future versions of the mod.
  • Heal I, II, III now scales with INT and Heal IV now heal a flat 30% of HP.
  • Major Heal I, II, III have a higher healing power.
  • Ninjutsu Summons now deal more damage.
  • You can now keep High level Spells after recruiting a higher-level enemy, i.e., summons and level 4 spells.

Special Thanks
Special thanks to gibbed for making the necessary tools and for all his massive help.
Same goes to Alisdair for taking the time to answer all my questions. Without them, this mod would not have been possible.

Any chance this mod addresses the terrible melee scaling? its completely obsolete by the end

Any chance for the other unrecruitable monster to be made recruitable? Such as the Scylla or the Krakan.

This mod is so great! but there are too few mods for this game, I sincerely want to know how to convert the mod for PC to NS.

PSA for anyone interested: If you're only interested in recruiting rare units or crafting rare items, and don't want to deal with the multiple other additions, then you can safely uninstall this mod after recruiting what you need. You get to keep your recruit and the additional changes like weird class abilities revert back to vanilla.

I used it to recruit a crystal dragon, it came with access to *every skill in the game*. Reverting to vanilla file allows me to keep it with its proper class: a powerful arc dragon with light magic, nothing more.

Overall seems pretty great. However, I am iffy on the changes to auto-skills. While some classes are too weak without their auto-skills being activated, there are also some auto-skills that are very powerful and become even stronger with the cards during battles.
