I haven't been able to work on it as much as I would like, but the key reason for the slow progress is I've been looking to step away from the whole extreme total war thing which makes for a fun early game, but pretty stale late game because everyone is dead.
I've been trying to make war more 19th century-like, where one major defeat can destroy your army and lose you the war, I've slowed down recruitment big-time, with various modifiers speeding up recruitment attached to military tech.
I'm stuck with scripting, I want to make conscription essentially the raising of another army, so I need to script a timed recruitment modifier so that conscription centres initial recruit intake is rapid, rather than a very slow trickle.
It will be updated eventually, but as stated in a previous comment, I lost all my progress in the updated version, so I have to start again.
It will take a while, but it will come.
Thank you, that's very kind of you. :)
keep up the great work and thank you
I had done a great deal of work for the next update, my plan was to wait until the recent Vic3 update went live, make sure everything still works, then release.
However, my computer decided to die on me completely, so all that work has been lost, I'm going to try to see if I can recover anything, but I will likely have to start over again which is quite demoralising, but hopefully I'll catch back up now that I have a new pc.
I apologise for this, and hope you'll continue to enjoy this early draft of EVM.
Thank you for that, I'm glad you're having fun with it!
