Hex's Precepts

Description
Adds new precepts using only existing XML modifiers. It's just more precepts to have fun with. Each precept has two variations, one complex (more balanced), and one simplified.

The XML is freely accessible in this repo: https://github.com/GreenHexagon21/Vanilla-Based-Percepts. Feel free to fork it or alter it to your liking.

It adds the following precepts:

- Absolute Animalism - An animal focused precept

Simple version stats:
> Caravan riding speed 50% faster
> Animal products price improvement 50%
> Animals learning factor +50%
> Bond chance +50%
> Train animal chance +50%
> Immunity Gain speed +25% (Since it's been proven that animals strengthen baby's immune systems)
> Mining Speed -20%

Complex Version:
(Will add the stats here (it is already in the mod) )

- Charisma is king - A precept that makes your colonists more charismatic

Simple version stats:
> Trade price improvement +25%
> Negotiation Ability: +25%
> Research Speed: -20%
> Global certainty loss factor: +25%
> Conversion power: +50%
> Bond chance factor: +25%
> Baby play power: +25%
> Social impact: +25%

Complex Version:
(Will add the stats here (it is already in the mod) )

- Desert Dweller - Pawns of the desert

> Smoothing speed +30%
> Minimum comfortable temperature: +10 C
> Maximum comfortable temperature: +10 C
> Insulation - Heat +5 C
> Insulation - Cold -5 C
> Caravan Riding Speed +10%

- Ignorant Bliss - Pawns are happier but also dumber

Simple version stats:
> Comfort: +0.5
> Beauty: +2
> Outdoor beauty: +2
> Research speed: -50%
> Hacking Speed: -50%
> Learning Rate Factor: -35%
> Conversion power: -40%
> Fertility +50%
> Recreation power: +35%

Complex Version:
(Will add the stats here (it is already in the mod) )

- Knowledge Seeker - A focus on research and science

Simple version stats:
> Recreation power: -35%
> Global Learning Factor +25%
> Research Speed +50%
> Filth multiplier -25%
> Social impact: -25%
> Mental break threshold: +15% (it's worse)
> Turret accuracy +0.3
> Hacking speed +50%
> Control taking time -4 seconds

Complex Version:

- Maker Culture - A focus on crafting and construction

Simple version stats:
> Outdoor beauty: -1
> Construction speed: +35%
> Construction success chance: +50%
> Plant work speed: -15%
> Drug harvest yield: -25%
> Works speed factor: +35%
> Caravan riding speed: -25%
> Repair success chance: +25%

Complex Version:
(Will add the stats here (it is already in the mod) )

- Medical Minded - A focus on medical tend speed and quality

> Medical tend speed: +50%
> Medical tend quality: +25%
> Cleaning time multiplier: -25%
> Immunity gain speed factor: -20%
> Pain shock threshold: -20%

- Melee Focus - More melee damage and dodge

> Melee hit chance: +0.3
> Melee dodge chance: +0.3
> Blunt damage: +15%
> Melee damage multiplier: +15%

- Mercantile - Pawns are good at trading and caravans.

Simple version stats:
> Sell price multiplier: +40%
> Negotiation ability: +25%
> Construction speed -15%
> Carrying capacity: +5
> Caravan riding speed: +50% (faster)

Complex Version:
(Will add the stats here (it is already in the mod) )

- Militant - Soldier like attributes

Simple version stats:
> Aiming time: -25% (faster)
> Injury healing factor: +20%
> Bed hunger rate multiplier: +20%
> Mortar miss radius multiplier: -0.5
> Eating speed: +50%
> Medical tend speed: +30%
> Max hit points: +12
> Filth multiplier: +25%
> Arrest success chance: +40%
> Pain shock threshold: +40%
> Drug sell price improvement: -35%

Complex Version:

- Mountaineer - Makes life easier when settling in the mountains

Simple version stats:

> Foraged food amount: +0.25
> Toxic environment resistance: -25%
> Smoothing speed: +50%
> Mining speed: +50%
> Psychic sensitivity: -25%

Complex Version:

- Physical worker - Pawns do simple works faster, other tings slower

Simple version stats:
> Construction speed: +30%
> General labor speed: +30%
> Cleaning time multiplier: +30%
> Plant work speed: +30%
> Smoothing speed: +30%
> Research speed factor: -50%
> Global learning factor: -25%
> Move speed: +0.5
> Carrying capacity: +5

Complex Version:

- Plant Focus - Working on plants and harvesting is better

Simple version stats:
> Plant work speed: +50%
> Plant harvest yield: +25%
> Outdoor beauty: +1
> Pruning speed +50% (faster)
> Animal products price: -50%

- Ranger - They prefer shooting, bad at melee

> Weapon handling: +0.4
> Mortar miss radius multiplier: -0.6
> Melee hit chance: -0.2
> Melee dodge chance: -0.2
> Ranged cool down: -0.25
> Ranged damage multiplier: +40%
> Aiming time: +50% (faster)

- Wastelander - Sturdy toxic resistant pawns

Simple version stats:
> Toxic resistance: +40%
> Toxic environment resistance: +40%
> Cancer rate factor: +15%
> Drug crop harvest yield: +15%
> Plant harvest yield: +25%
> Max hit points: +7
> Carrying capacity: +5
> Plant work speed: -20%

had fun with the mod when trying to make something specific with my colonies but i have a bug where when i hover over some "complex" versions and there is no text at all

found what i believe to be a small error with the Maker Culture - Central precept. it add a plus and minus to shooting accuracy. not sure if that has already been reported.

Heya,

Looking at the def's, I originally thought it's a typo, Ranger suffers +50% to aiming speed, which makes the precept pawns worse both at melee and aiming? Was this a typo? Because you note that this makes aiming "faster", but same goes with militant precept, however there you reduce aiming speed, which actually makes aiming faster.

Pardon me, for ignorant bliss, what is beauty and comfort added to? If I convert a prisoner who just so happens to be ugly, would they suddenly become not ugly? If I'm being unkind and forcing a pawn to sleep on the rough granite floor, will they become comfortable?
Also, for militant and ranger, the percentages are -25% and +50% yet both are supposedly making aiming time faster?
