My complete story about all my owned knives and gloves over all these years of trading/buying skins :)

Introduction

The following guide is intended to show all the knives that I owned over all these years in CS:GO. 
Each section includes different stories I had with those knives, and differents eras. 

I'll show by date the knives that I had, and include a screenshot of the specific knives (in cases that data was found). I'll make a section to show you how to get this skin data to do it yourself.

Hopefully this inspires you to make yourself a guide like this! To say goodbye to a legend game as CS:GO.

1st Stage

It was 2014 when I started playing this beautiful game. I was really into skins since day 1 as I always used skins from GameBanana back in the day with CS 1.6 and Source. 
I starting saving up money to buy some minor skins, even created some of them on the Workshop. Never had enough money to buy a knife, so I just held different weapon skins. 
Using in-game drops and different skins that I bought or gain through betting on professional matches I remember I had built a good enough inventory with an ak, m4, awp, glock, usp, the base inventory for about $60 to finally get a knife. 
I wanted to trade all those for my first knife, but when I sent the offer I selected all my items but forgot to select the knife from the other guy. That day I lost everything I had, then after some time was able to save up some money and was finally able to get my first knife!
After that, all my trade history was about to begin ^^

Back in 2015, when GTA V was about to come out, I decided to sell my knife and pre-order GTA V, and with the rest of the money, make a case opening of about 50 cases. 
Sadly, the best I got was a Man o' War but it was a good experience to finally open some cases even though it didn't profit.

2nd Stage

After some time in 2015, I saved up some money and bought my second first knife, I knew I could trade it for the better while as well saving up, so I just went for it. The rest is history.

When I had this huntsman, I bet it on a jackpot and won many items and knives.

Then trade the other two knives I had for one of the best knives I had.

Then with Karambit as a main knife, started trading the Huntsman.

Here I had some of the best knives I ever dream of, but the greed would come, and betting would go wrong which would make me lose the flip and continue with just the Karambit.

After getting the bayonet fade, which was the best knife I ever owned back then the year was now 2016 and got to enjoyed it for some time. After getting bored of it and as well still being attracted to betting skins, I started using roulettes and here everything would go uphill.

After some up and downs situations, I eventually got the M9 Doppler which would be my main knife and final one. I had still some money left, so I got my self a low tier knife to start building another trading history (3rd Stage).

After getting the butterfly knife, I decided to sell it on Steam market and buy a game. One decision I fully regret, nor only because trading was such a joy that ended right there for me, but as well to sell a butterfly back then and looking at how rare and expensive has become now, it's really painful. Still, either wrong or right decisions drive you to what you are today. 

4th Stage

In 2017-2018 I decided to quit CS:GO and there ended such a wonderful skin's journey for me. Almost 4 years of plenty of hours put into the game and many more hours put into skins and stuff related. I decided to sell my M9 Doppler which was the knife I had for the longest time (about 2 years), plus all my other skins. Taking a look back, it was a forced decision due to my internet connection was pure garbage, and wasn't enjoying playing the game at all. I used that money to play other games, and left CS:GO behind. Only playing once or twice in rare occasions.

Played for a bit more in 2020, but didn't invest in anything. 

Then 4 years later, I moved to another place and I had great internet, this particular reason made me comeback to the game after so long. The experience of course was so much different, plenty of new knives had arrived, as well as now there were gloves and agents. So I finally decided to invest again into this amazing game.

Got a paracord with plenty of blue, and after spending much much more time on the game, I wanted to invest more. After getting a full inventory with really good weapon skins, about 3 months later, I decided to invest once again.

Not completely satisfied on how the phase 1 looked, and considering CS2 around the corner, I spend all my saving on getting until nowadays, the best CS:GO knife I've ever owned.

Guides used to get skin data information

In order to get skin data and as well to be able to make a screenshot of an specific item I've had, I had to go through some tutorials. I'll share them below.

First of, to find every skin I potentially had sold or traded I followed this guide. You need the float in order to search for a certain item, if you have it it's easier.
Else, you will need to follow some extra steps, all named below.

In that server as well, I've used the !gen command, which is a generic way you can get to spawn a certain knife with specific conditions (as you could see in images descriptions).
