After the introduction of mass ground based electricity shock waves and laser canons traditional tanks and helicopters were rendered useless, the Hyperion was created to fill the niche left in their wake, It remains out of reach of any shock waves while maintaining the armour necessary to absorb laser canon fire. Armed with a heavy Rail gun and two Phoenix-S2 missile launchers it has heavy fire power but at the cost of a heavy speed decrease.
