How to have snow in Sim City 4. (No Mods)

Change the internal setting of your computers clock to December 25 of any year. Then set your computers time to 1.00 AM or any time that same day.

Load a city and snow will cover areas with large hills and mountains. Tiny hills and flat surfaces will have no snow what so ever so you can use the teraforming tools to make a nice map with snow and no snow or use an existing one.

Tip if you want an area covered in snow including flat surfaces use god modes Terrain Effects. Then choose Terrain Level to raise the maps height before establishing your city.

As the months pass while playing Sim City 4 snow will melt and then later reappear adding a nice effect. Again this depends on the height of you map level set or how high you edited the terrain to be when using the games tools.

Overall this is a nice little effect or Easter egg and sadly it cannot be saved when saving the game. You will have to repeat the step at the top when the day is over.
