Chesapeake & Ohio Roadrailers

Description
Works with SCS Box Trailer 28ft chassis (Dry Van & Insulated bodies ONLY!). Correct me if I'm wrong, but I might be one of the first people to create an ownable roadrailer paintjob mod.

In 1955, the C&O Railway developed the first "rail van," which was a highway trailer with retractable rail wheels and rubber tires. It did not require a flatcar or rail highway transfer terminals. A group of "rail-vans" could be grouped together to form a train. Between 1959 and 1968, the rail-vans were re-named as the "road-railers" and were used to carry mail in Michigan. However, the road-railers had their own operational and economical problems. The trailers were not capable of mixing in with most railroad freight cars and had to be run separately. The Chesapeake & Ohio Railway retired the road-railers after 1968.
