i must admit, this is accurate
It's a bit complicated to explain, what I mentioned on my previous comment is the textures and vmt code for the timer, to use it separately and put it in your HUD, you have open localplayerpanel.res and localplayerpanel_incap.res in the resource file and scroll down and find // TIMER, below that is all the code you need to copy paste on your custom res files (except TimeIcon and TimeBackground because that is the background of the this BA HUD).
This seems confusing, but the best way that you can understand is by playing around with resource file and see what they do (trial and error).
