Functional Beaches (Parklife-Version)

Description
Functional Beaches (Parklife)

UPDATES: 04.08.2023:
- Fixed: Terrain issues with the beach footpath,
- Fixed: Error messages and visibility (LSM report) main and side entrance beach park

There are beaches in almost every small and large town. Unfortunately, beaches are still missing in the game today. I was always hoping that the developers would add beaches as a free upgrade to Parklife. Unfortunately, nothing happened and the coastal areas in the game are mostly still a bunch of non-functional decorative objects.

Bring more life to your coast
... with functional beaches!
Functional Beaches are a playful expansion for the Parklife expansion. This extension adds additional objects to create functional beaches. In addition to lifeguard stations and sun loungers with umbrellas, there are chill-out areas and bathing areas for citizens.

Features:
Main and side entrance, beach gravel path with lanterns (anarchy, no collision), lifeguard station, shipwreck, cafe pier, sand pyramids, 2x hanging out areas (ground), 1x hanging out area (water), functional benches (vanilla), functional sun loungers (vanilla).

All objects that I have additionally created are low poly and share the same texture (main and LOD texture). Sun beds, umbrellas and benches are from the base game.

How to create beach areas?

All objects can be found in the City Park tab.
It works the same as creating zoos or amusement parks. Mark a parking area with the parking area tool. Then place the main entrance. Connect this to the foot paths. You can place beach objects along the paths.

Please note: Your beach should be very shallow in the water, especially if you use the bathing area markers in the water. Otherwise people will disappear in the water.

You are welcome to support my night shifts with a warm coffee: [paypal.me] (Only if you want of course!) :-)

Have a nice day! :-)

@lanceandflo
Based on your message I assume you mean the entrances? The entrances always require a road connection.

No way to connect it to the beach park life gate because the mod requires a road connection, not a path. Other than that a great asset,,,

i did it with the PPGs but they dont conform to the ground but sometimes they do, but id switch to this expecting they dont show shadow in the ground when you are kind of far from them, the PPGs for some reason project a black square when you are like 200mts away
