How to change the Anti Aliasing from TAA to FXAA
By Zeptomonkey
Hello This guide is here to show you how to switch the in game Anti Aliasing from TAA to FXAA.

First head to your Documents folder in File Explorer.

Then locate the folder labeled "My Games".

After opening the "My Games" folder, open up the folder labeled "Fallout 76".

Then open the file labeled "Fallout76Prefs.ini" in some circumstances it can just say "Fallout76Prefs".

Under the "[Display]" category locate the line labeled "sAntiAliasing=TAA" if it is not under the "[Display]" category then simply add it.

Finally type in the value "FXAA" in place of "TAA" to change the anti aliasing.

Note 1: Whilst this can offer more performance, it can also create a little more visual noise due to the less aliased image.

Note 2: If you want to disable the anti aliasing entirely then just change the value to "sAntiAliasing=0".

Performance Note: I noticed my GPU usage went down by about 20% -- 30%.

Conclusion: I hope this guide helps you thank you for reading to the end.

Thank you for this. I'm fine with the slightly noisier image FXAA provides, I just can't stand the awful TAA smear in this game
