Digging to the top of the map!
The world border at the top of the map can be reached by using the Engineer (its one methode) and chosing the level 1 difficulty.

1. After you landed in your mission, wait for the drop pot to take off and farm 80 nitra.
2. Use your "Platform Gun" to get as high as possible (you should be able to nearly reach the top).

3. Order the Resupply Pod at the top of your platforms.
This is because the hole made by the drop pod has an upper limit, and you hit a "solid" rock surface there. The resupply drop will now expand the hole upwards, allowing you to receive more ammunition for your platform gun and extending the hole all the way to the world border.

4. Climb up to the top and you wont be able to get any higher. You can now see the cave system from outside and the void around you. If you fall down you will either die or get teleported to the start of the map.
Digging to the other world borders
World border on the sides of the map
We tried to dig to the side of the map but after a short time you will come to the bedrock which can only be mined by using the pickaxe. Now you can increase the speed of mining by using the platform gun. The platforms will destory larger parts of the bedrock if you mine the platform with your pickaxe. The reason behind this is that the pickaxe has a larger area of effect when it destroys a spot.

After a short while, the platform gun also stops functioning, and over time, we gave up as we couldn't see an end to the map on the sides.

World border at the bottom of the map
The same problem applies to the bottom world border. After digging for an hour with the pickaxe through the bedrock we gave up. Other videos of digging straight down also show that nothing happens and you could probably dig forever.

A couple updates ago the top of the pod tunnel wasn't closed, so they fixed it. What you were able to do, like Scout with his grappling hook and special powder equipped, was to get out of bounds easily and fly there for a bit before you fall down pretty far and the game let's you spawn somewhere on the map again. You can see the entire map when you're out of bounds. I just uploaded a screenshot, take a look if you want: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3014376443

The easiest way to climb is jet boots + scout.

Reaching the top can be achieved rather more easily in two ways:

- With Low Gravity modifier and a pair of jet boots, though you need to get lucky.

- If you hop off the pod such that it starts to leave, you can stand on the ledge where the ramp folds in and ride to the top, then platform the side of the tunnel.

Not just fun, but also rather helpful as a friend and I found out trying to find a very hidden Mini M.U.L.E on a sneaky ledge in Dense Biozone.

i noticed setting up pipes removes the bedrock on the sides of the maps
so build pipe close to bedrock remove a lil area
remove pipe and redo it closer inside the destroyed area to slowly inch forward
