How to become Saxton Hale.... as the Spy (NOT WORKING ANYMORE).

This guide is now redundant, valve fixed the exploit about a day ago.

This guide will explain how you can become Hale (kinda) as the Spy.

Of course, the actual process does not involve the disguise kit since it's impossible to disguise as Hale using the kit.

INTRODUCTION

So, earlier today, I woke up and decided to play some TF2. I joined a VSH map, and kept playing. After a while, I noticed something.. strange. Really strange.

The server had TWO Hales.



I had already seen some pretty cursed TF2 shenanigans prior to this in the same server, I swear I was going insane. Then it hit me... red team's "Hale" was actually a Spy, a player named "GOODBYE MOODMAN".

And then I quickly realized what was going on. Our Spy got the Hale disguise using the "Your Eternal Reward" knife.

HOW TO BECOME HALE

So this is how it's done-

1. Pick Spy as your class when a round begins.
2. Remember to equip 'Your Eternal Reward".
3. Get a backstab on Hale.
4. Switch to your primary weapon (revolver).

Step 3 will only give you the disguise. Step 4 will give you the movement speed. After step 3, Make sure to NOT ruin your disguise before step 4 by shooting, changing into another disguise (why would you? disguise kit is practically useless in VSH) etc.

As you can see in the video, I didn't switch to my primary after my first backstab (around 0:50), and as a result I didn't get the movement speed. On top of that, I also ruined my disguise by swinging the knife. But after the 2nd backstab (around 1:51), I switched to my primary and I was given Hale's movement speed.

I have no idea why this happens. Thank you TF2 spaghetti code.
