Originally before me and Rhamkin joined map ideas it was going to be a koth map called 'Seal Sanctuary', but that wasn't very exciting. When it came to finding a new name we just translated 'Seal Town' into Norwegian. It may not be the most accurate translation as non of the team are from Norway but its a simple name and quite catchy!

If I may ask, how did you come up with the name Selbyen? I really had to wipe my eyes the first time I saw it because of how similar it is to my name lol
