The FMUpdate - Season 23/24 - V2 Hotfix - July 17th

This is the V2 HOTFIX for the FMUpdate 23/24! After some feedback from our members we have decided to release a hotfix to solve some troubles with the English leagues.

In this release you will find:

* Promotion & Relegation updates (Austria)
* Edits on the European roster (see below)
* Transfers & Loans (up to July 17th) (including Rice to Arsenal and more...)
* Hotfix for English Premier League > Removed FC Koln from the roster

We have seen that FM is changing our edits to the European rosters. Meaning, there are some teams that will switch during loading. Example: Maribor of Slovenia will be left out and replaced by another Slovenian team. We are looking at a fix, but fear it will not be solved anytime soon.

To replicate the 23/24 season we have managed to change the data of the 2022 World Cup, moving it back to the summer. We also added a fixture fix for the World Cup. This will remove the long breaks between November and December in the national leagues across the world. To properly use this add-on, you will need to make sure to use these files at the same time:

With these files the national leagues and European competitions will schedule their matches normally.

1. Subscribe and download
2. Check the Editor Data folder to make sure it is downloaded
3. Remove ALL other addons or updates done by us.
4. Start FM23 and start a new career
5. Before going into Advanced settings, click the top right and make sure the 23.4 database is selected
6. Tick The Football Manager Update 2324 V2 Hotfix.fmf
7. Continue to advanced settings and pick your nations
8. Start your save and have fun.


Are you seeing a lot of triangles when moving to the advanced settings? There are 3 possible reasons for that:

1. You are trying to use incompatible add-ons (league addons, double transfer updates etc)
2. You are using more than one Football Manager Update versions
3. You are using an older database (23.0,23.2 or 23.3). This update is only usable with the 23.4 database


1. Find your Editor Data folder > \Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2023\editor data
2. Delete every file except The Football Manager Update latest files or update
3. Restart Football Manager 2023 and start a new save
