Guardians of the Galaxy 100% Achievement Guide

In this guide I will show you how to get all achievements for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.
You can play at any difficulty, there are no difficulty related achievements.

By following my All Collectible guide you will unlock following collectibles related achievements:

Thoughtful Captain - Find half of the Guardian Collectibles.



Managerial Skills - Find all of the Guardian Collectibles for one Guardian.



Lore Hoarder - Collect 65 % of all Gallactic Compendium entries of each category.



Fashion Passion - Find and equip all Outfits.

Chapter 1

Where is the battery

Eat It, Rodent Achievement

Eat It, Rodent - Win the bet against Rocket.



To get this you have to destroy more parasites than Rocket. In this video I show some good locations with parasites that should give you this achievement.

How to get Rocket out of the Jelly Pit

Slakebuster Achievement

Slakebuster - Interrupt a Slakebeast with Drax's Call to Action.


At some point you will find a cage and Groot will open it by accident.
A Slakebeast will come out and another one will appear (the one you fought already).
The one in the cage has it tail intact and that's your target.
Kill the one withough the tail and focus on the one from the cage. You must stagger it and a prompt will appear to do Call to Arms action. Unfortunately who will do it is random so if it's not Drax you will have to reload a checkpoint.

Squid Kicker - Defeat the Dweller-in-Darkness.

The Blood Brothers Boss Fight

Family Intervention - Defeat the Blood Brothers.

Chapter 7

No Way, Nova Corps Achievement

No Way, Nova Corps - Interrupt a Nova Centurion with Gamora's Call to Action.



You will have to beat him up and stagger him to be able to do Call to Action.
Use your team's abilities but save Gamora's. This makes her more likely to do Call to Action witch is kind of random and someone else may do it if you push the button when the prompt appear.
If this happens just reload last checkpoint as it is better to do this achievement here and get it out of the way.

Drax the Dismemberer

Drax the Dismemberer - Dismember an Inquisitor with Drax's Call to Action.



At some point you will run in to a giant robot - an Inquisitor.
Use your team mates to deal damage and stagger it. You will have to do two rotations to do this and on the second one don't use Drax. I think this gives a better chance for Drax to do Call to Action.
When Inquisitor is staggered a prompt will appear and Drax will tear both of Inquisitor's arms.
If another member of Guardians do this you will have to reload your save game or continue this chapter as there are more Inquisitors before you. But it's best to do it here and get it out of the way.

Captain Glory Boss Fight

Groot Canal Achievement

Groot Canal - Interrupt a Charger with Groot's Call to Action.


Bring them down to about 15% of health and wait for Groot to grab one.
You will get a Call to Action prompt when he does this.
It may take some time for Goroot to actually do this, he gets knocked downa lot during those fights. By the way there are 3 fights with Chargers in this level but as always it's best to get this achievement out of the way as soon as possible so I recommend restarting a checkpoint when you see that last charger will get killed. You must restart before he dies or autosave will kick in.

Pick Me Up - Revive a fallen team member.



Mama's Boy - Defeat the Meredith Quill delusion.



Titanslayer - Survive the manifestations of Thanos.



Guardians of the Galaxy - Complete Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.

Self-Improvement - Purchase your first Star-Lord Ability.



Stagger Swagger - Stagger 25 enemies.



Unstoppable Force - Attain the maximum possible Momentum 10 times.



The Crowd Goes Wild - Execute a Flair Attack 10 times.


As you fight with enemies sometimes a prompt will pop up when they're at low health. You must get close to execute an animated finisher.


Dynamic Team - Invest in at least one Special Ability for Gamora, Drax, Rocket and Groot.


Fully Loaded - Invest in all Special Abilities for all Companions.



Bullet Hell - Defeat 15 enemies with Star-Lord's Fan the Hammer ability.



Altitude Adjustment - Defeat 20 enemies with Star-Lord's Eye of the Hurricane.



Set 'em Up, Knock 'em Down - Defeat 15 Staggered enemies with a Charged Shot.



This Is What We Do - Win every achievement.



Galactic Frugality - Pay your Nova Corps fine.


You need to save 7000 or 8000 units for this depending on your choice in chapter 3.
It's best to hide Llama to get fined 7000 Units.

Auto-Combo Achievements

All Auto-Combos work the same. You must be melee fighting an enemy near a companion you want to auto-combo with. At some point companion will join in and achievement will pop up.


Katathian Handshake - Execute an Auto-Combo with Drax.



Killer Friendship - Execute an Auto-Combo with Gamora.



Timber! - Execute an Auto-Combo with Groot.



Aim Assist - Execute an Auto-Combo with Rocket.

Ultimates related achivements

Adding Injury to Insult - Defeat 10 enemies affected by Drax's Wrath of Katath ability.



Herbal Remedy - Revive or Heal Companions 10 times with Groot's Gift of the Florae.



Boom Show - Defeat 20 enemies with Rocket's Five Barrel Barrage.



Trained to Perfection - Defeat 10 enemies with Gamora's Executioner ability.

Also on lvl10, just before jumping up to get the mourning candle, there is an archive - A FOGGY THEORY (it is also seen for a brief moment in the video, but the author just miss it and jump on to the upper level to get the item)

You can also go back to this linear hall from the last part with the elevator..

There is an archive ("If anyone finds this") at the end of chapter 5, missing in the video, before the last part. After fighting your way in the hallways you can return back and it is in one of the siderooms (looks likes a generator room) and there is also another room in front of it with some parts..
