Description

A port of the massive toy/Lego store level from the super obscure (and unfortunately now-deprecated) 2003 Lego Racers: Supersonic RC Flash Game. This map is great for racing, stunts, and general sandbox shenanigans. All required content is packed into the map. Also, music can be toggled on or off at the button behind the ramp near spawn (and its volume is controlled by the music slider in settings).

Possible Bugs/Issues and Fixes:
-Occasional weird lighting flashes on map geometry: type "mat_fullbright 1" into the console
-"Node graph out of date. Rebuilding...": ignore this, it will go away a few seconds after spawning in :)

Thanks for playing the map! The music bug might be an issue caused by a recent update to the game, so Ill have to check into that in Hammer. As for the lighting, this is due to the way the original map had to be ported as static props, and source can be quite angry when static props are this big lol. There were actually some semi-recent updates to lighting for static props, so I may be able to finally fix the annoying lighting flashes when not on mat fullbright, but I would have to recompile the map, and Im unfortunately pretty busy with school atm. Regardless, thanks for the questions, Im glad that other people also enjoyed this strange old flash game and managed to find this map haha.

Nice! Well done! I do have two things to ask though:
#1: Why does the music not loop until turned off?
#2: Why is there an apparent lack of proper lighting in the map?

To anyone missing playing the original game, never fear: it can still be played with the help of a program called "Flashpoint".
