Skipping the intro

Personally, I play these games a few levels at a time, and the intro adds up. So skipping it (by deleting the png files in the branding folder) saves a fair bit of time.

Delete ALL the branding

Right click on the game in your library – properties - installed files - browse.

Go into the "branding" directory and delete all the PNG files - bigifsh_collector.png. branding1.png. branding2.png and original_story.png. Don't delete branding.lua

If you do delete branding.lua or anything else you shouldn’t delete, right click on the game – properties – verify integrity of game files to restore things to the default.
