Served in the royal guard for a Planetary Emperor until his excellent Chef skills will noticed, eventually thanks to them and his years of trusted service - he was promoted to be the Emperor's personal Chef and Body Guard. Nearly Fatally injured and left partially dismembered and permanently comatose - in the line of duty, saving the Emperor and half of the royal council, the Emperor demanded multiple experimental super soldier programs be devoted instead to his beloved Chef, Bodyguard and friend. Half the kingdoms fortune was spent on this merging of super soldier and human enhancement projects and the kingdom revolted and the Emperor was killed! The Emperor managed to have Abe smuggled off planet on an AI controlled medical ship which was tasked with completing his treatments and placing him on an inhabited planet once he was ready to be woken up and fully healed. He woke up changed but aware of the procedures and as to why - as informed by the AI Craft, which was nearing the end of it's power supply and operational lifespan. Though mighty and significant he has found his modifications to also have some fairly serious side effects. He now is just trying to make a living by whatever means he can and to find himself again while he discovers his new abilities and shortcomings.
