Description
Adds in new technologies and blueprints created by Sunflower Corporation. We strive to bring you cutting-edge advancements in space-faring technologies.

- Cluster Missile - A new type of missile designed to overwhelm PD. These missiles are launched from the standard missile launcher.
- Ion Blaster - Fires a guided burst of ions away from the turret, then directs the burst to its target. Great at diagonal fire.
- Heavy Ion Blaster - Fires a massive, but slow, guided burst of ions away from the turret, then directs the burst to its target. Shields stop its secondary effect entirely.
- Galvanic Armor - A wide, armored plate with two charged coils on the outside that will shock nearby enemies and projectiles, dealing more damage as they get closer.
- Arc Emitter - Drains nearby Arc Transformers to fire massive bolts of lightning.
- Arc Transformer - Converts power in to arc energy to be used by Arc Emitters and Galvanic Armor.
- Ion Diffusion Lattice - A special arrangement of ion reflectors that act sort of like a laser and a sponge simultaneously. Absorbs ion energy and expels it in small beams.

This mod makes additive edits to the Ion Beam in order to cooperate with the Ion Diffusion Lattice. These edits are non-destructive. Any mods that perform destructive edits to the Ion Beam or replace it entirely will be incompatible with the Ion Diffusion Lattice. Other areas of the mod are unaffected.

I'm trying to figure out the exact cause, but for some reason with only this mod enabled, ion beams cause impulse when firing into prisms, and it ramps with their intensity. this causes ships to move very strangely, constantly need to apply thrust to counter, or in some cases with particularly strong prism arrays, just spin wildly.

Man, the ion blasters are amazing, they look just like SBY shock cannons, except they aren't because they aren't busted. Great mod, though, lol.

love your mod, but could you make a version of the ion blaster that has a bigger arc so it can be fired from the back of the ship

Just a heads up @Fariel your cluster missiles cause a crash. They reference CommonReloadTimerMed, which doesn't exist in the vanilla missile_launcher.rules anymore.
